It is celebration time for Television actor, Viraf Patell as he kickstarted his 'happily ever after' with his longtime girlfriend, Saloni Khanna in an intimate ceremony in Mumbai. Due to the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, Viraf Patell decided to opt for a court marriage. The couple had gotten engaged in February 2021.

Viraf had shared his engagement pictures on his Instagram handle. In the pictures, we could see the duo in a blue-coloured ensemble. Alongside it, he had written, "You are gentleness, sensitivity, melody, rhythm, smile @salk.04."
On May 6, 2021, Viraf Patell tied the knot with Saloni Khanna in a simple court wedding due to the pandemic. The couple colour-coordinated their outfits. While Viraf donned a crisp white tuxedo with a red pocket square, his bride, Saloni wore a white saree with a strappy blouse. At the wedding, neither Viraf nor Saloni's family members were present as they wanted to ensure their safety, considering the rising number of COVID cases.
In an interview with The Times of India, Viraf had revealed how the duo had convinced their family of getting married. He had said, "We convinced our respective parents and families to not travel in these scary times. So, it was just us and three friends, who were also the witnesses for the court wedding. Two of them recovered from COVID two weeks ago, and the third one has already taken both doses of the vaccine."

In the same interview, Viraf had revealed the unique engagement ritual. He had said, "I couldn’t get a ring for her this time as it wasn’t available. So, I put a rubber band on her ring finger."
The actor had further added, "It is a very special day for both of us and our families. The ceremony may have been simple, but it was memorable. We hope that all our near and dear ones continue to shower their love and blessings on us. We had our family and friends by our side, in spirit, and three cool witnesses to our special moment. It was just perfect!"
