One of the most lovable and perfect jodi amongst our favourite celebs is of none other than, ace cricketer and Indian cricket team captain, Virat Kohli and his stunning wifey, Anushka Sharma. When the lovebirds tied the knot in December 2017, everyone knew that it is not only a union of two beautiful souls who are in love but two brands altogether. While Virat is excelling on the ground each time he plays, Anushka, on the other hand, never fails to impress the audience on the silver screen. Above everything else, Virat and Anushka never leave any chance to praise and acknowledge each other’s professional achievements. They are so proud of each other that they never contain their excitement and admire each other on social media. And yet again, Anushka did the same! Virat Kohli again broke the records and this time he broke master blaster Sachin Tendulkar’s record.
Virat has become the fastest Indian Cricketer to complete 10,000 ODI runs. In addition to this, he has also set a new record wherein he has reached 10,000 ODI runs in just 205 innings, breaking Tendulkar’s 2001 record of 259 innings. This is such a huge achievement that Anushka is all praises yet again for her man. The Sui Dhaga actress took to her social media and shared her joy, posting a moment from the match. Atop the picture, she wrote, “What a man!!”
Virat too never stays behind in acknowledging his lady-love, Anushka. On the release of her latest movie, Sui Dhaga opposite Varun Dhawan, Virat tweeted, "Saw @SuiDhaagaFilm for the second time last night and I loved it more than the first time. What an emotional rollercoaster with brilliant performances by the entire cast." Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma’s jodi is one of the best in the Bollywood-cricket world, koi shak? Lately, in an interaction with ESPN, Virat shared how he foresees his parenthood life with wifey Anushka Sharma. The cricket superstar was quoted as saying, “Everything in life is transient. It will end one day. I have a life. I have a family. I will have kids. They deserve all my time. That is something that is very, very clear and close to my heart. I want no part of my career being flashed into my house. I want no part of my trophies, my achievements, nothing in my house when our kids are growing up”.
In another media interaction, when he was asked if his marriage has been any hurdle for him to concentrate on his cricket, he remarked, “Not difficult at all, I was away for something (marriage) which is much more important. That is a period that will always remain special for both of us. Switching back to cricket is not difficult at all because it is in my blood like it is for every other team member and the team management as well, so getting back to professional front is not difficult at all”. Gushing about Anushka, Virat once said, “I have realized a lot of things in the past few years since I've been with my wife. Because she is a very spiritual person and I have sort of drifted on that path as well.” He also said, "She is a lovely and simple person and she is as honest as well just like I am. And that is what I love about her the most. That is my biggest attraction towards her." (Also Read: Ajay Devgn Called Kajol To Invite On His Sister's Wedding, Kajol's Reply Was Unexpected [VIDEO])
Earlier when his fans and others pointed fingers at Anushka for distracting him on grounds, Virat lashed back like a doting boyfriend. He took to his social media handles and wrote, "Shame on those people who have been having a go at anushka for the longest time and connecting every negative thing to her. Shame on those people calling themselves educated. Shame on blaming and making fun of her when she has no control over what i do with my sport. If anything she has only motivated and given me more positivity. This was long time coming. Shame on these people that hide and take a dig. And i dont need any respect for this post. Have some compassion and respect her. Think of how your sister or girlfriend or wife would feel if someone trolled them and very conveniently rubbished them in public. #nocompassion #nocommonsense"
Congratulations Virat Kohli on putting another feather in your cap, we are so so proud of you!
