Indian cricketer, Virat Kohli gave an outstanding performance in the Test series against the West Indies. Now, he is back in India, but he has been on the receiving end of trolls for all the wrong reasons. There is no denying the fact that Virat Kohli and his wife, Anushka Sharma are environmentalists, and they often raise their voices against cruelty against animals and nature. However, the cricketer's recent post didn't go well with the netizens, and they slammed him.
Virat Kohli recently took to his IG handle and shared a picture of himself from a special flight that Global Air Charter Services had organised for him. He documented his journey inside the plane and gave a sneak peek into his journey back to India to his Instagram followers. Later, a Reddit user shared the pictures on the discussion portal and took a dig at how Virat and Anushka always preach about climate change and awareness, while their actions speak otherwise. Sharing the picture, the user penned:
"Mrs Environmentalist’s husband."

However, Virat Kohli's picture apparently didn't sit right with social media users. The netizens took to the post's comments section and slammed the cricketer for his double standards. While one user wrote, "And they don’t play holi to save water", another one penned, "I love how everyone can now see through their hypocrisy, india me log celebrity ke mandir banate thy may be still banate bhi honge but now a days we indians are holding them accountable for their hypocrisy too, love this change."
