Team India's famous cricketer, Virat Kohli and one of the most amazing B-town actresses, Anushka Sharma, have set an example for the couples. The first meeting of this glorious couple took place in 2013 during an ad shoot. Eventually, they became friends, and then this friendship turned into dating. This high-profile celebrity couple tied their knot on December 11, 2017, in a very private ceremony in Italy. In 2021, they kept their first footprints in parenthood with the arrival of their first daughter, Vamika.
On March 23, 2023, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma were seen attending the Indian Sports Honours Awards ceremony in Mumbai. The couple's astounding appearance left the fans with their jaws dropped. In contrast to Virat, who looked elegant in a black tux, Anushka looked like a diva in her purple gown. The actress also shared some beautiful pictures with her hubby, Virat on her Instagram handle.

At the Indian Sports Honours Awards ceremony, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma announced their non-profit initiative, which they named, 'seVVa'. Through this non-profit initiative, the couple chooses to offer scholarships to the young athletes of our country.

While talking to AB De Villiers on his Youtube channel, Three Sixty, Virat Kohli shared the details of his first meeting with Anushka Sharma. He said at the time they first met, he started shivering because Anushka was already a top actress. In his words:
"She was one of the well-established and one of the top actors already in India. As soon as I heard that, I started shivering, How the hell am I gonna do this ad with her? She was a proper actor. I was so nervous."
Virat Kohli also shared that out of his nervousness, the first thing he said to Anushka Sharma turned out as a bad joke. Virat said that he had no idea how tall Anushka was. And because of this reason when he first saw the actress coming wearing decently high heels, his first words were some comments on her heels. Virat said:
"So, the first thing that I told her was that, 'You didn't get anything higher to wear?' And she's like, 'Excuse me?' I was, 'Oh my god! So bad!' But then the shoot went on and I kind of figured it out along that whole time that she's actually a very normal person and then we got talking, and our backgrounds were very similar. From there on we became friends. Gradually, we started dating."
