Now, his eagle-eyed fans have seen an old tweet from Shibani, who was the anchor of IPL shows in 2011 where Kohli gave a playboy-like comment that read:

"Hello stranger. Hope ur well."

When Shibani Dandekar proved she was more than just a pretty face as an anchor

Shibani, in 2011, used to even review IPL matches and was there to prove her worth. She was an outsider to the same amid Gaurav Kapoor, Samir Kochar and Archana Vijaya. Apart from Shibani, the remaining three were seasoned in understanding the game of IPL and speaking to cricketers.

How did Shibani Dandekar become an IPL anchor?

Shibani's dad would not accept no as an answer, being a cricket fan. A nervous and scared Shibani did oodles of homework and information on the players before she was set to go live. Shibani added:

"Before I started, I wrote down the names of players, their teams, their captains and their coaches and stuck them on boards around the house. So every time I walked past one of them, I could revise and remember. It wasn't easy."
