In an episode of FTB On The Road, Virat Kohli opened up about his wife, Anushka's intense practice sessions for her role and heaped praises on her for her dedication to the film. Talking about how his respect for Anushka has increased, the doting husband had said:
“For me, a movie was just about watching it for three hours. Then I saw Anushka train for the film and I was like respect boss. She is finding the process challenging. This is the first time she is doing such a thing and that too by learning bowling.”
On September 8, 2022, Virat Kohli had completed his 71st international century in Asia Cup 2022, and his happiness knew no bounds. However, what swooned our hearts was Virat's speech after the win as the cricketer dedicated his achievement to his wife, Anushka Sharma and their daughter, Vamika Sharma Kohli.
