Not only this, the MLA had also asked her husband, Virat Kohli to divorce Sharma for producing Paatal Lok. Nandkishore had told Newsroom Post, "Virat Kohli desh bhakt hai, desh ke liye khele hai. Anushka ko talak de dena chahiye.”

In 2018, when Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma were travelling together in a car, they had spotted two men throwing garbage on the roads from their SUV. This infuriated Anushka, who had stopped the car and had schooled them on the same. She had said, “Why are you throwing garbage on the road? Please be careful, you can’t just throw plastic around like that on the streets. Use a dustbin.” But instead of slamming the ones, who were at fault, trolls had targeted Anushka. Giving it back to the trolls, Virat Kohli had tweeted, “Lot of people who don't have the courage to do something like this, find it funny. Everything for people nowadays is meme content. Shame.” However, Virat’s history of protecting Anushka from trolls dates back to a long time when Anushka was blamed for India’s loss in a match. Virat had then taken a firm stand and had ensured that his ladylove is well-protected on social media. This is what he had posted, teaching us how a stand is taken. He had written, “Shame on those people who have been having a go at Anushka for the longest time and connecting every negative thing to her. Shame on those people calling themselves educated. Shame on blaming and making fun of her when she has no control over what I do with my sport. If anything she has only motivated and given me more positivity. This was long time coming. Shame on these people that hide and take a dig. And i dont need any respect for this post. Have some compassion and respect her. Think of how your sister or girlfriend or wife would feel if someone trolled them and very conveniently rubbished them in public. #nocompassion#nocommonsense."
Coming back to Anushka Sharma’s production venture, Paatal Lok, not only the audience, but her husband, Virat Kohli too, was all-praises for his wife. Posting a picture, Virat had praised Anushka and had written, “Having watched the whole season of PAATAL LOK a while ago, I knew it's a masterpiece of story telling, screenplay and tremendous acting. Now having seen how people loved it too, just confirmed how I saw the show. Proud of my love @anushkasharma for producing sucha gripping series and believing in her team along with our bhaiji @kans26 Well done brother.” Virat had also tweeted, “The perks of being married to the producer of this amazing show means I saw it weeks ago and I absolutely loved it! Well done Team Clean Slate Films @AnushkaSharma @OfficialCSFilms #PataalLok.”
As Anushka Sharma had turned 32 on May 1, 2020, she had celebrated an intimate birthday with her hubby, Virat Kohli. Sharing an all-smiling picture with Anushka as he feeds her a piece of her birthday cake, Virat had written, “You my love bring light into this world. And you light up my world everyday. I love you.” Anushka, on the other hand, had penned her birthday wish is that all the suffering in the world to come to an end. Anushka had written, “I wish today, sadness dwindles. I wish today, suffering ends. I know it may not all go away, it does have its own part to play. And the role it dawns comes at a price, with tears and screams and even stifled cries. I wish today, suffering ends. Sadness and suffering have been friends. Suffering is the second act. They play on the same life stage, making you tumble, slip and fall. But after that comes your rise, And rise you will and be so wise. I wish today, sadness dwindles. I wish today, suffering ends.” (Also Read: Anushka Sharma Spots 'A Dinosaur On Loose', Hubby Virat Kohli's Roar Makes Him The Cutest One Ever!)
