The debate of nepotism in Bollywood has turned into an all-time high after the demise of a self-made star, Sushant Singh Rajput. A youngster, who won everyone’s heart with his impeccable acting skills and super-humble nature, was simply the most loved actor of the small-screen. After some years, he made his debut in Bollywood with the film, Kai Po Che and it seemed like this actor isn’t going to stop now. Everything was going quite well in terms of his movies but it was easy to suspect that the star was always absent from the parties and get-togethers. Now, after his demise, every doubt has changed into a sad reality and people are in an immense rage all over the internet. Some of the finest actors and directors have also bashed the Bollywood industry for coming out now with their arms open and one such actor is Vivek Oberoi, who has come forward and revealed a lot of things about Sushant’s family and how tragic their condition is right now.
On June 15, 2020, Bollywood actor, Vivek Oberoi was one of the few actors, who had attended the final rites of the late actor, Sushant Singh Rajput. After attending it and coming back to his home, the actor took to his Instagram handle and revealed in his long note how heartbreaking and painful it was to see Sushant’s father, KK Singh Rajput having to light the fire of his 34-year-old son. Also, how his sister was screaming and begging him to come back, it was all tragic to witness for the actor. In his words “Being at Sushant’s cremation today was so heartbreaking. I truly wish I could have shared my personal experience and helped him ease his pain. I’ve been through my journey of pain, it can be very dark and lonely. But death is never the answer, suicide can never be a solution. When I saw his father today, having to light the fire at the cremation, the pain in his eyes was unbearable, when I heard his sister weeping, begging him to come back, I can’t express how deeply tragic it felt.”
Further in his long note, the actor also circled the Bollywood industry for crushing the talent instead of nurturing it, and it can be read as “I hope our industry that calls itself a family, dos some serious introspection. We need to change or the better, we need to bitch less and care more, less power play and more grace, and large-heartedness, fewer ego trips and more acknowledgement for deserving talents, this family needs to truly become a family… a place where talent is nurtured not crushed, a place where an artist feels appreciated and not manipulated.” (Don’t Miss: Sanjay Dutt Misses Wife, Maanayata And Kids, Shahraan And Iqra, His Daughter, Trishala Reacts To It)
