In the latest episode of 'Bigg Boss 18,' Vivian Dsena had a candid chat with director, Anurag Kashyap about his family. He also credited his daughters for his current calm demeanor and composure.
Since Bigg Boss 18 first aired on October 6, 2024, it has found new ways to keep viewers on the edge of their seats, including inviting several celebrity guests. From Mallika Sherawat entering the house to interact with the contestants to Ekta Kapoor and Rohit Shetty taking up Salman Khan's usual designation as host, every celebrity guest brings their own flavor of excitement and drama. Anurag Kashyap was the most recent celeb guest to enter the house and have candid conversations with the housemates. His interactions brought to light the contestants' emotions as they opened up about their personal lives, with the highlight of the episode being his conversation with Vivian Dsena.
Filmmaker, Anurag Kashyap was seen talking to housemate, Vivian Dsena about his family after entering the house. He further asked the Madhubala — Ek Ishq Ek Junoon star how he was managing his emotions. Well, Vivian honestly admitted that he missed his family a lot, due to which he was feeling 'a lot of anxiety' and nervousness. The actor also stated that this was the reason why he usually stayed silent.
Anurag further asked Vivian how he felt about his daughters watching him on the show. The actor confessed that he wasn't sure how his elder daughter would react and that he would only find out once he got back home. Vivian can be quoted as saying:
"I don't know how my elder daughter will react. I'll only know once I go home. Sometimes we say things in anger without realizing it. I've always been antisocial, and it takes time to deal with people."
Vivian Dsena was also seen discussing his temper and composed demeanor, which fans love, with Anurag Kashyap. Surprisingly, the actor revealed that he hasn't always been as calm as he is now. However, it was his daughters who helped him calm down because he felt he couldn't get angry in front of them. Vivian said:
"I do get angry, especially with my wife. I express openly. But I've calmed down a lot now. My daughters are here, beti ke samne gussa bilkul nahi aata. Main toh maar kha lunga. Sometimes, they'll scream at me and leave, and my wife reminds them, 'Your father never raises his voice.'"
Vivian further went on to discuss the joys of fatherhood with Anurag, referring to it as the 'most unbelievable feeling in the world.' The actor was seen pouring his heart out about his three girls, one biological and two stepdaughters , who he shares with his wife, Nouran Aly.
Vivian Dsena being tagged as the 'ladla' of Colors and Bigg Boss has been a point of major controversy since the beginning. Fans and former contestants have dragged the label, saying that it hints at the show being rigged. Well, while speaking with Anurag Kashyap, Vivian got candid about the tag. The director was seen asking the actor what 'ladla' means and Vivian responded by saying:
“Look, many meanings can be derived from ladle but if you look closely then there is a loyalty factor. I have remained very loyal to my work and my network although the competitor networks have tried a lot to come in the middle. They even gave me a blank paper and went away asking what I should write.”
Vivian further explained that his background and upbringing had taught him to never forget the ones who made him. He stated his belief in never forgetting his roots no matter what position he reached in life.
