Purab Kohli, former model and VJ, is soon going to become a father! His fiancée, Lucy Payton, a London-based Kundalini yoga and meditation teacher is expecting her first child with him.

Purab and Lucy’s love story is straight out of a Bollywood movie. Lucy was his sister’s friend, and he had known her for many years before love blossomed between the two. As he says:
“But we only started dating a couple of years ago. Lucy lives in England and we kept meeting on and off in India whenever she visited. Love bloomed during the time she came down to India for her training.”
Purab, who is shooting currently for Rock On!! 2 has wrapped up his schedule to be in London with his lady love. The baby is reportedly due on December 13.
Well, this is not the first time that an Indian celeb has got betrothed by a foreign national. Yuvraj Singh and Hazel Keech are others in the same category.
Purab, when asked how Lucy broke the news to him, told a leading daily:
“It was a happy surprise when Lucy told me over the phone that she was pregnant. I was like ‘Wow’! Our baby is due on December 13. We are fully prepared for the baby. In fact, we had been longing to have a baby for a long time. The producers of Rock On!! 2 have been kind enough to finish one schedule and let me go to London in time for my baby’s birth.”

He and Lucy plan to tie the knot soon after she gives birth to their child. He was quoted as saying:
“By next year, when she -— yes, it’s a girl — is old enough to attend our marriage. Lucy and I are engaged and we were already talking about having a baby once we get married. Then she got pregnant and we decided to have the baby. I think no woman would like to attend their own wedding with a big stomach so that’s why the marriage has been planned for next year. We are both serious about our relationship and want to be together but we both have been working on a tight schedule.”
He will be back to India in January for the release of his next film Airlift, while Lucy will fly down after their baby is a few months old.
