The beloved jodi of television, Sasural Simar Ka fame couple Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim have been together for quite some time now. They have been in the media glare ever since they fell in love. Shoaib proposed his lady-love on the national television, Nach Baliye 8. Their on-screen, as well as off-screen chemistry, is loved by their fans.
There are strong rumours that Shoaika, as their fans fondly call them, will tie the knot soon. According to the sources, they will get married by the end of February and their wedding preparations are going on in full swings. Shoaib and Dipika are posting some adorable pictures and videos on their respective social media handles, but what caught our attention is the new hashtag that they are using.
The lovebirds are using #DoDilMilRaheHain in their posts, which is making us wonder if they are all set to walk down the aisle. Our little birdie has told us that depending on the guest list and availability, the couple will zero in the venue for their wedding. They are considering Bhopal, Jaipur, Lucknow and Kanpur for their dream destination wedding. Also, we found something really interesting on one of the fan pages of Dipika. So, a fan page by the name of DIPIKA KAKAR.OFFICIAL on Instagram has started a quiz and their first question was “What do you think in which month I and Shoaib are getting married?”. The winner announced to this question guessed that it might happen in June.
For the uninitiated ones, Dipika was earlier married to another guy but got divorced. Which is why, initially, Shoaib and Dipika didn’t reveal anything about their relationship because Dipika wanted to make sure that this relationship wasn’t a rebound for her. She was quoted as saying, "I wanted to be sure that this relationship wasn't on the rebound. Also, we were getting to know each other better. No matter how progressive we become, being a divorcee has some kind of a social stigma attached to it in our society. I had that stamp on me. But he gave me that space and despite being aware of my past, never complained about it. He has in fact always respected that. Coming from a small town, even his parents never let me feel that. I have always longed for family. Ammi sends dabba for me when my mother is not there. I feel I am more close to his mom than him. Everything is positive, and we are more at peace now."
Soon-to-be Mr and Mrs, the much-in-love couple belong to two different religions. But it never became a problem in their relationship. Talking about the same, Dipika was quoted as saying, "It was never an issue between us as we have our priorities sorted. We are mature people and understand each other well. Be it work or personal life, we take all decisions together as that’s how our relationship has been formed." Revealing what he loves the most in Dipika, Shoaib said, “She is really different. Not at all demanding, I must say. If I had given her a ring made of paper, she would have still been happy. Emotions are more important for her.”
All their fans, including us, are eagerly waiting for them to announce their wedding date soon!
