During an event in 2017, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan lost her cool at the paps after they misbehaved in public. The actress broke down and left her daughter, Aaradhya, concerned.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan never hesitates to express her views, without being influenced by anything and anyone. Though the actress steers away from controversies, she never blinks an eye when she has to give it back to someone for their actions. There is no denying that Aishwarya is close to her parents, Brindya Rai and late Krishna Rai, and she is extremely protective of her loved ones. And when it comes to respecting her boundaries, she doesn't care about being too polite.
It was back in 2017 that the actress, on the occasion of the birth anniversary of her late father Krishna Rai, was hosting a charity event for kids. She had sponsored treatments for 100 kids who were born with cleft lips and palates, a condition her father suffered through. Her daughter, Aaradhya Bachchan and mother, Brindya Rai too were present at the occasion. However, the auspicious occasion turned sour when the media wouldn’t stop chattering and ended up scaring the toddlers with the loud noise.

As she attended the private hospital that took her donation and got ready to perform those operations, the media just forced her to take her photographs and unable to control her frustration and emotion, Aishwarya Rai got angry and emotional. She asked the media persons to know the ambience and shed tears as well. One could see her eyes filled with tears. The superstar then lashed out at the paps and said:
"Please stop it. You guys don't know the work. This is not a premiere. It's a hospital, please respect where you are. There are kids present here. This is not another public event. Please show some respect guys. What's wrong with you all?"
It was at this point that the event manager and other staff also sternly told the paps to keep it low. However, the damage had been done. From then on till the end of the event, Aishwarya had welled up eyes. Aaradhya, sensing something had gone wrong, latched onto her mother throughout. As the event proceeded, Aaradhya handed over the knife to her mother, Aishwarya, making the latter smile.

Aishwarya Rai is one of the few celebrities who believe in calling a spade a spade. Earlier, we stumbled upon a video of the actress, wherein she was seen wearing a yellow-hued outfit at an event. During the event, one of the journalists asked Aishwarya about an old statement of hers wherein she claimed about shifting to Hollywood. However, the actress lost her cool at the journalist and lashed out by asking him to check his facts before attributing her. Aishwarya said:
“Wait a minute. Maine kab kaha? Nahi kaun se interview me? No, aap mujhe ye interview dikhaiye fir hum baat karenge.”

Aishwarya then asked another media person if she was aware that the former had said so in any interview, and the journalist replied that she didn't know. The actress then mentioned that though she has worked in multiple language films, it doesn't mean that she was going to shift anywhere. In her words:
"If you want to ask a question, please do. Don't attribute statements to me. I've worked first in Tamil films, then in Hindi and Bengali films, and now, I'm working in some English films. But this does not mean I'm shifting anywhere or I'm part of any other industry. It's just broadening your experience in some way.”
