However, now an old interview of the duo surfaced on the internet, wherein Ranbir mentioned that it is not correct to leave one's girlfriend for another girl, and his ex-girlfriend, Deepika's reaction grabbed the netizens' attention.
An old video, featuring a scene from Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone's joint interview post their breakup, surfaced on the internet while promoting their film, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. In the video, the actor was asked a fan's question about his opinion on whether he has a 'Dilli wali girlfriend' and 'if it is good to leave his girlfriend for another girl in real life'. To this, Ranbir immediately answered in denial and mentioned that he did not have a girlfriend then. He also stated that leaving one's girlfriend for another girl is not right. However, he added. "I don't know. It depends on the situation", at the end.

And all the while Ranbir was answering the question, Deepika was seen seated beside him while listening to his words with full attention. She was seen giving a few expressions, which tentatively grabbed the netizens' eyes. From Deepika getting upset after listening to Ranbir's statement to giving him a side eye, netizens couldn't stop themselves from checking her expressions. And if reports are to be believed, Ranbir cheated on Deepika with another actress, Katrina Kaif, which created a lot of stir in the media.
As soon as the video surfaced on the internet, Deepika Padukone's classic expression caught netizens' attention, and they connected it with her infamous love affair with Ranbir Kapoor.
