Once, Salman Khan revealed why he doesn't want to move out of his parents' house, Galaxy Apartments and shift to a bigger space. Here's what he said!
Salman Khan is one of the most popular actors in Bollywood. Son of veteran filmmaker Salim Khan, Salman is a complete family man. His brothers, Arbaaz Khan and Sohail Khan have also been part of the Hindi film industry for some years now. The actor, along with his family, resides in a lavish bungalow in Galaxy Apartments, Mumbai. Recently, gunshots were fired at Salman's house, and fortunately, the actor and his family are safe and sound.
While the security around Salman's house has been tightened, the actor has reportedly moved out of the iconic apartment, which has been his residence for years now. The sea-facing residence often witnesses a swarm of Bhaijaan's fans gathering outside to catch a glimpse of their favourite superstar. Though this is not the first time that Salman has experienced death threats, he refuses to leave his house and move into a bigger space for good.

During his appearance on Farah Khan's chat show, Tere Mere Beech Mein, in 2009, Salman Khan revealed the reason why he didn't want to leave his parents' home. It so happened that Farah asked, “You are the world’s superstar, and you earn like crores, but you are living in the one-bedroom-hall just because it is situated below your mom’s house." To this, Salman said:
“Yes. Actually, it is a three-bedroom hall but I don’t know how it became into a one-bedroom-hall.”
Reacting to Salman's statement, Farah further asked him, “Do you have a security feeling that you are close to your mom?” Responding to the same, Salman admitted that it feels wonderful that he can relax beside his mom and dad after a hectic day at work. The actor said:
“When we go up, we go lay down next to mom and dad.”

During the same episode, Salma Khan also opened up about Salman's fans gathering outside their apartment and revealed the Khan family’s reaction to it. Talking about the same, she said that the Police officers would often request her to ask her son to greet fans, even for a brief moment, so that they could dismiss the crowd, affecting the traffic situation. However, Salim Khan discouraged the gesture because he believed that if Salman would often greet his fans in such a way, they would keep coming back for more.
It was on April 14, 2024, at around 5 a.m. in the morning, gunshots were fired outside Salman Khan's residence, Galaxy Apartments. While the investigation is going on in full throttle, one of Salman's close friends revealed that the superstar is unbothered by the incident. In an interview with Times Now, a source shared that Salman is scared of harming his family while his father, Salim was getting sleepless nights over the threat. The source stated:
"Salman feels the more attention he pays to the threat, the more the attention-seeker will think they succeeded in doing what he wanted. Besides Salman is a fatalist. Jo jab hona hoga tab hoga."
