Lock Upp fame, Payal Rohatgi and her wrestler-fiance, Sangram Singh, are on cloud nine as they are a day away from tying the knot. The lovebirds are engaged since 2011, and finally, on July 9, 2022, they will become each other’s forever by exchanging sacred vows. Now, the soon-to-be-married couple has kick-started their wedding festivities with a puja at an 850-year-old temple, and glimpses of the same are unmissable!
For the unversed, Payal and Sangram’s wedding rituals had commenced with shagun ki mehendi on July 6, 2022. A paparazzi team shared a few snapshots of the bride getting adorned with henna at her mehendi ceremony. Payal opted for a casual look and donned a pink, and orange-coloured bandhni printed kaftan suit, which had sequinned embroidery at the hemline. She completed her whole getup with a 'no-makeup' makeup look and flaunted her bridal glow.

On July 8, 2022, we stumbled upon a few recent pictures of the soon-to-be bride, Payal Rohatgi performing puja with her fiance, Sangram Singh, at Prachin Rajeshwar Mahadev Mandir in Agra. Ahead of their wedding, the couple seeks the blessings of Mahadev and Maa Parvati at the 850-year-old temple. She looked gorgeous in a maroon-hued floral printed lehenga, paired with a sheer dupatta. On the other hand, Sangram donned a yellow kurta paired with the same coloured Nehru jacket and a white pyjama. Earlier, in an interview with ETimes, Payal Rohatgi had opened up about how she would deck up herself on her D-Day. Talking about the same, the actress mentioned that she would be wearing temple jewellery along with her bridal ensemble. The gorgeousness further revealed that she would don her nani's gold kada (a bracelet that Sikhs and some Hindus wear) to complete her whole bridal look. In her words: “My Nani, I loved her. She has given me her gold kada which I am going to wear with my wedding jewellery. She was a sardarni."

She shared that being a wrestler, he is a very unromantic person. He feels comfortable in shorts. Hence, making him wear sherwani or ethnic wear is a huge task. The doting girlfriend, Payal, added that she is training Sangram by doing stunning pre-wedding photoshoots with him in traditional wear. In her words: “Sangram ji is not a very romantic person. He is a wrestler and comfortable in shorts etc. Wearing a suit or a sherwani is like a trial for him. So, to get him into that romantic mood I thought of getting him into training zone with this photoshoot. So, I prepared myself and Sangram ji.”
