Yami Gautam recently shared an Instagram post and mentioned in the caption that she is all set to return to work four months postpartum.
Yami Gautam is one of the most beautiful actresses in Bollywood. She is admired for her acting talent and ability to experiment with different roles on-screen. Although she is one of the leading actresses in India, she has kept her personal life under wraps and sparingly shares some glimpses of hit on Instagram handle with fans. Yami married filmmaker, Aditya Dhar on June 4, 2021, in a simple and traditional wedding ceremony. The couple recently embarked on parenthood journey, and now the actress shared that she is all set to return to work.
Yami Gautam gave birth to her son, Vedavid, on May 10, 2024. She kept her personal life away from the media during the last few months to manage her mommy duties. She was less active on social media and didn't share any updates from her life until recently. But, Yami had earlier spoken up about her wish to be a working mom. On September 27, 2024, Yami took her Instagram handle and shared a post as she attended an event in the city. In the caption, the actress revealed that she has resumed work after her brief maternity break. She penned:
"And now back to work. Thank you, team Make My Trip, for a fantastic event."
In the post, Yami is seen wearing an ethnic red outfit by Anjana Bohra in a mirror photo with jhumkas. She kept her look simple with subtle makeup and neatly combed open tresses. The actress looked elegant as she touches up her makeup in one of the photos.
On September 25, 2024, Yami Gautam shared the first sneak peek into her life as a mother after four months of giving birth. She shared an Instagram post from her home, surrounded by nature, as she folded the burp clothes of her little one by sitting outside her home on a chair. Yami was relaxed as she wore a comfortable outfit and a shawl at home. In the caption, she explained about her life after embracing motherhood and wrote:
"Lately, life has been about colourful burp clothes, some sunshine and trees."
On the work front, Yami began her career as a model and ventured into TV with Chand Ke Paar Chalo until she ventured into films. She made her film debut, with the Kannada film, Ullasa Utsaha and later got the lead role in Vicky Donor, which gave her a successful debut in Bollywood. Since then, she has starred in films like Badlapur, Sanam Re, Uri: The Surgical Strike, Bhoot Police, Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga and more. The actress was last seen in Article 370.
