Yami Gautam shared glimpses of her birthday celebrations and thanked her husband, Aditya Dhar for making her day special.
Yami Gautam had surprised everyone when she announced the news of her wedding with Uri: The Surgical Strike fame director, Aditya Dhar. Love had blossomed between Yami and Aditya when the duo had spent time with each other during the shooting of Uri: The Surgical Strike. Ever since her wedding, we have been witnessing beautiful pictures of Yami and Aditya from their marital bliss.
Be it donning her Aatheru or accessorising her dresses with a statement neckpiece and mangalsutra, Yami never misses an opportunity to flaunt her wedding essentials. On October 24, 2021, along with the nation, Yami Gautam had observed Karwa Chauth fast and it was her first one after her wedding with Aditya Dhar. Yami was seen wearing a unique mangalsutra from the brand, Bulgari. On her IG handle, Yami had shared pictures wearing a red saree, flaunting her mangalsutra, sindoor and Aatheru earrings. Along with the picture, she had written:
''The joy of celebrating my first Karvachauth is unmatched & it became more special as I wear @bulgari Mangalsutra.''

On November 28, 2021, Yami Gautam celebrated her birthday with her family and hubby, Aditya Dhar. She took to her IG handle and posted glimpses from the birthday celebrations and penned a note of gratitude thanking Aditya for making her day special. In the first picture, Yami was seen cutting her birthday cake with Aditya and their family. The actress looked stunning in a lavender-coloured top and sleeveless jacket and also flaunted her Aatheru. Yami's note of gratitude can be read as:
"28.11.2021 has to be the most special day for me. Feeling extremely blessed! Gratitude to my beautiful family & especially my husband (I can say that out loud now Aditya) for making it so special. We should consider ourselves lucky that we are blessed with a family that is so selfless. Thank you, my extremely hard-working team that believes in me, tirelessly. Thank you to my amazing crew. Thank you for all the wishes from my colleagues, friends & members of fraternity and media houses etc. And a very special thank you to all the fans & fan-clubs! I am truly indebted by your love."
In an interview with Indian Express, Yami Gautam revealed what drew her towards Aditya Dhar. Listing Aditya's qualities, Yami stated:
"He values his family, which is extremely important to me. As a professional also, he’s someone who doesn’t believe in taking up any project or is always after money. He really wants Indian cinema to stand out on international pedestrian."

She also recalled an incident from the sets of the film, Uri: The Surgical Strike, which left a lasting impression on her about Aditya. Stating the same, Yami shared:
"I remember one of the crew members sat on the floor, and Aditya was sitting on a chair. He got up and said please sit, and just walked off. That girl was shocked because nobody does that for a staff member. These small things speak about you. My inspiration starts from the professional that he is. He has so much humility, so much goodness, that for everybody, it was really refreshing to see that."
Yami Gautam and Aditya Dhar had tied the knot on June 4, 2021.
