Popular filmmaker, Aditya Dhar turned a year older today, and on his birthday, his doting actress-wife, Yami Gautam wished him with a special picture from their first Karwa Chauth.
The ever-so-gorgeous and supremely talented actress, Yami Gautam had got married to the love of his life and ace filmmaker, Aditya Dhar, on June 4, 2021. The much-in-love couple had become each other's forever in an intimate wedding ceremony. For those who don't know, Yami had met Aditya for the first time while filming for their film, URI: The Surgical Strike and the rest is a beautiful history of their true love.
Talking about Yami Gautam and Aditya Dhar's wedding day and their respective outfits. Yami could be seen donning a deep-red saree with a golden border and a matching dupatta pinned on her head. On the other hand, Aditya had looked dapper in a cream-coloured sherwani with a matching doshala and a turban. Truly, they had looked like a match made in heaven!

On March 12, 2022, Yami Gautam took to her Instagram handle to wish her filmmaker-husband, Aditya Dhar, on his 39th birthday. The doting wife shared three pictures with her darling hubby. However, the first picture of the stunning couple caught everyone's attention, as it was from their first Karwa Chauth in 2021. Yami was seen wearing a red saree, sindoor and aatheru earrings and unique mangalsutra from the brand, Bulgari, and it cost Rs. 3,49,000. Aditya also looked handsome in a white kurta and silver-embroidered Nehru jacket. Along with these pictures, Yami penned a heart-melting note in the caption for her husband, and it can be read as:
"Happy birthday to my love Forever @adityadharfilms."
In an interview with the Bombay Times, Yami Gautam had talked about her first Karwa Chauth and had revealed that the beautiful saree that she had donned was gifted to her by her husband, Aditya Dhar. Shedding more light on the same, she had said:
"I wore a beautiful red sari, which was a gift to me by Aditya. I've always loved red as a colour especially when the occasion is very Indian-festive. I feel red can never fail during such auspicious occasions. It is a very powerful colour. I was fasting and everybody took good care of me."

Further in the interview, Yami Gautam had shared how she had cancelled her shoot to celebrate her first Karwa Chauth. She had also recalled how she had tried to match up to her mother's cooking skills. She had concluded:
"This year I had a shoot that got cancelled and I took to celebrating this day in full swing. My mother-in-law and Aditya were excited about it. I was glad my mom was home too as I could learn the rituals from her properly. I loved the vermicelli mom used to cook on this day and I tried to match up to her cooking skills this year."
