Nusrat Jahan Gets Discharged After Delivery, Rumoured BF Yash Dasgupta Carries The Child In His Arms

Bengali film actress and MP, Nusrat Jahan got discharged from the hospital. Her alleged boyfriend, Yash Dasgupta, carried her son in his arms while leaving the hospital.

Happiness had knocked the doors of actress-politician, Nusrat Jahan, as she had embraced motherhood with the arrival of her baby boy on August 26, 2021. For the uninitiated, Nusrat had married businessman, Nikhil Jain on June 19, 2019, in the Turkish town of Bodrum. Since her wedding, the actress had been making headlines for her inter-faith marriage and then for her split with her husband in mid-2021.

Amid reports of Nusrat's separation with Nikhil Jain, the actress' pregnancy rumours were rife too. Not only that, her closeness to her co-actor, Yash Dasgupta, had made everyone suspicious regarding the father of her child. On August 26, 2021, Nusrat had given birth to her child at Bhagirathi Neotia Hospital of Park Street area in Kolkata.

On August 30, 2021, Nusrat Jahan was released from the hospital. In videos shared online, the newbie mommy was seen leaving the hospital with her rumoured boyfriend, Yash Dasgupta. Yash, on the other hand, was seen carrying the newborn in his arms. Nusrat can be seen folding her hands and acknowledging the media before getting inside the car.

After the birth of her son, Yash Dasgupta had informed the media about the well-being of the child and the mother. Sharing an update for her fans and well-wishers, the actor-politician had shared, “For those who have been enquiring about Nusrat’s health, the mother and child are healthy and doing well.” Though speculations about the child's father were rife, Nusrat Jahan had taken a stand that she won't be disclosing the name of the father and would be a single mother of her child.

On July 12, 2021, Nusrat Jahan had confirmed the rumours of her pregnancy when a picture, flaunting her baby bump, had gone viral on social media. Nusrat’s picture, flaunting her baby bump in a white dress with no makeup had created a lot of buzz as it came as a confirmation of all the rumours. In the picture, Nusrat was seen posing with fellow actresses of the Bengali film industry, Srabanti Chatterjee and Tanushree Chakraborty.

Talking about Nusrat Jahan and Nikhil Jain’s separation, on June 9, 2021, she had released a statement claiming her marriage as invalid in India as per the marriage regulation rules of the Turkish government. She had said, "Being on foreign land, as per Turkish Marriage Regulation, the ceremony is invalid. Moreover, since it was an interfaith marriage, it requires validation under Special Marriage Act in India, which did not happen."

For the unversed, Nikhil had denied to accept the child as his because he and Nusrat were staying separately for more than six months.
