The fashion quotient of Met Gala 2024 has been keeping us in awe. From national to international celebrities, everyone was dressed in their best based upon the theme of 'Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion'. For those who don't know, the Met Gala is a fundraising gala that is hosted on the first Monday of May every year. The fund raised by the gala is to benefit the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute in Manhattan, New York, USA. The attendees have to be invited to the beauty exhibition, and the tickets for the individual cost 75,000 dollars, i.e., Rs. 63 lakh. However, the green carpet of this year's Met Gala witnessed some of the top-notch fashion quotients by the celebrities.
A lot of the Met Gala 2024's outfits reminded the fashion junkies of Uorfi Javed's previous looks, and they have been praising the fashion influencers. And now, netizens have started reacting as they found similarities between Aishwarya's Cannes 2022 look and American actress and singer, Zendaya's style at Met Gala 2024.

Zendaya donned two different dresses for her Met Gala 2024 appearance. For the first look, she opted for a John Galliano's timeless creation. The actress looked stunning in an emerald and ocean-blue-hued embellished gown. With a glam touch of makeup, including dark eyeshadow and dark-toned lipstick, she finalised her look. On the other hand, a unique headpiece adorned with a black net brought a dramatic twist to her look.
For the second look, Zendaya donned a black-hued gown with a long trail. The main twist of the dress came along with the multi-coloured floral headpiece. However, her look instantly gave people a deja vu, as they recalled an almost similar look of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan from the Cannes 2022. For the day, Aishwarya was decked up in a black-hued gown, whose one sleeve and the alternative lower portion were adorned with some similar floral embellishments to that of Zendaya's recent bouquet-styled headpiece.
As soon as netizens noticed the similarities, they started dropping their opinions. While some users called Aishwarya influential, others argued and mentioned that the actress didn't make the dress herself. Not only Zendaya's but Mindy Kaling's Met Gala 2024 look gave people a deja vu as her dress was almost similar to Aishwarya's from Cannes 2022. For Met Gala 2024, Mindy Kaling opted for Gaurav Gupta, who looks breathtakingly gorgeous in a structured gown. On the other hand, the same piece was worn by Aishwarya Rai Bachchan when she walked the red carpet of the Cannes 2022.
