Maha Kumbh Mela 2025 is considered the biggest spiritual gathering on earth. It is not mere exaggeration, but facts. It started on the occasion of Paush (Hindi month) Purnima (full moon), with over 1.5 crore people taking a dip at the sangam (the confluence of three holy rivers, Ganga Yamuna and Saraswati), which is called Shahi Snan. India is considered the hub of spirituality. It is the same place where renowned saints, gods, and goddesses decided to stay, and hence, to have a deeper understanding of life, one can visit Maha Kumbh.
Despite the chilled weather and freezing water in North India, several devotees paid their visit. Among the sea of worshippers are devotees from foreign lands, including South Africa, New Zealand, Russia, and many more. The Kumbh Mela is filled with chants and prayers, and several pilgrims seeking divine blessings. Amidst it, a video of a young girl who became sadhvi went viral.
The young Indian sadhvi from Uttarakhand, which is considered God's own country. Her beautiful eyes and deep devotion took everyone's attention at the celebration. She was dressed in traditional attire with layers of marigold garlands. She was spotted at Prayagraj as she was about to take the ceremonial dip at the Triveni Sangam.
In the clip, the reporter looked at the young sadhvi, who shared that she has chosen the religious path for the past two years. She also revealed that she was the shishya of Acharya Mahamandaleshwar. The sadhvi clarified that she left the material world, in order to find sukoon (inner peace), and her chosen path has brought her the tranquillity she was looking for. Her participation in the Kumbh Mela is a road for her moksha, which is the ultimate goal of every person.
Not only this, but the sadhvi also shared her experience of the shahi snaan in the freezing water of the Sangam. As reported by the Economic Times, she revealed that her heart was filled with warmth after taking a dip according to the sacred ritual. She revealed that the dip was not a mere physical act but a way of clearing her soul and renewing it for the connection with the divine power.

After a little bit of research, we found out the girl is a social media influencer. Her real name is Harsha Richhariya. She has been covering Maha Kumbh activities on her Instagram handle and sharing the reason for being a part of the celebration, where India's saints and spiritual beings unite.
As soon as the video went viral, netizens rushed to the comment section. One user questioned her makeup and the way she styled her hair. The user wrote: "Kya Sadhvi log sringaar kar sakte hai? Inko dekh kar aisa lag reha hai ki inhone eyebrow karva rakha hai aur kajal laga rakha hai aur saath mein lipstic bhi. Julfe alag latak rahein hai." Another revealed that she wasn't a sadhvi, "She is not Sadhvi she is a professional host, she hosts various events and programs for marriages and public events."
