However, if you are one of the plus-size girls, chances are high that people might have given you suggestions on what to wear and what not on your D-day. There is always a stigma attached to a plus-size bride. They are told in this modern era to 'embrace their real self' and 'love themselves the way they are', but it is not easily practised, especially in the bridal world. After all, a bride is always expected to flaunt her best self, and she is advised to lose the extra kilos. But our bride of the week became an inspiration for all of us.
Meet our bride of the week, Salzeena, who had gotten married to the man of her dreams, Rohil in a dreamy wedding setup. A plus-size bride is often advised to wear a dark-coloured ensemble, but Salzeena had opted for a pretty pastel ensemble. Yes, she had opted for a Sabyasachi Mukherjee's pastel pink lehenga with silver-embroidery all over it. Her lehenga skirt had beautiful tassels attached to it.
The bride had accessorised her look with a minimalistic maang teeka and a beautiful neckpiece. Her look was completed with open hair. On the other hand, her groom had donned a beige-coloured sherwani with a green-coloured mala. And the style of their pink and white roses jaimala had added more elegance to their looks.
