Bollywood star, Ranbir Kapoor is the son of veteran actress, Neetu Kapoor and late actor, Rishi Kapoor. Following the same footsteps as his parents, Ranbir has proved his acting prowess and has made his parents proud of him. For the unversed, earlier the relationship between the father and son had become sour for some reason. However, their bond redeveloped when Rishi was diagnosed with rare cancer. And on April 30, 2020, legendary actor, Rishi Kapoor had left for the heavenly abode leaving his massive fans base and family devastated. However, his kids, Ranbir Kapoor and Riddhima Kapoor Sahni and his wife, Neetu Kapoor, have treasured him in their hearts forever.
On December 15, 2021, we had stumbled upon a video from the promotional event of Ranbir's upcoming movie, Brahmastra. In the video, Ranbir had terribly missed his father, Rishi Kapoor, on the special occasion and had revealed that Rishi had thought his movie wouldn't work in India as no one watches VFX films. After which, Ranbir had recreated his father, Rishi Kapoor's popular dialogue, 'Kya tumne kisi se pyaar kiya' from the film, Karz. Check out the video:

On March 21, 2022, several paparazzi Instagram handles had shared a video, wherein Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt had stepped out at the airport from their car and had looked stunning together as they twinned in white outfits. And a few hours ago, we stumbled upon a picture revealing a close look at Ranbir's mobile's lock-screen wallpaper. The picture was clicked at the airport, and upon zooming, it showed a happy moment of Ranbir's late father and legendary actor, Rishi Kapoor. The media page captioned the picture as:
"It’s always the abiding memories that stay back with the family. #RanbirKapoor has kept his dad #Rishi Ji’s wallpaper on his phone."
Late actor, Rishi Kapoor's last film Sharmaji Namkeen, is all set to hit the theatres on March 31, 2022. Farhan Akhtar, who is also the producer of the film, had posted a video of Ranbir Kapoor talking about the film. The actor had taken a trip down memory lane and had recalled the dilemma on the completion of the film after his father's death. Calling the film 'special', Ranbir had said:
"I'm here to share something that makes Sharmaji Namkeen a very special film. This film isn't special for me just because it's papa's last film but papa really believed in the story. I remember when he fell sick in the middle of the shoot, he somehow wanted to complete the shoot but life had other plans."

Ranbir had further revealed that his papa had lived the phrase, 'The Show Must Go On' and to complete the film, Ranbir had even considered using prosthetics or trying VFX. Talking about the same, he had said:
"You may have heard 'The show must go on'. Papa lived it. After he left, it felt that the film may not be completed. We thought of trying VFX or I could wear prosthetics and finish this role. But nothing was working out. And that's when Mr Paresh Rawal stepped in and helped us finish the film."

For the unversed, it was on Rishi Kapoor's 69th birth anniversary, when his daughter, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, had unveiled the poster of Sharmaji Namkeen.
