In a conversation with ETimes, Yami Gautam opened up about the probability of watching her work again with her husband and filmmaker, Aditya Dhar. The gorgeous actress stated that she's glad that many people want her and Aditya to work together in a film and called it a 'sweet expectation'. Yami also praised Aditya for believing in her with her role in URI, as she had never done a serious role like that before in her career. She added that she'll always be grateful to him as an actor for his confidence in her. However, the actress clearly stated that seeing them work together again is possible, but in the end, it all depends on the need of the script. So, if she and Aditya will find a story that demands them to come together, they'll work on it for sure. She said:

"It's a very sweet expectation (smiles) and he's definitely for me... Of course, we got married later, but yeah, as strictly as actor and director, he was one of those directors in 2019, who had faith in me and who felt that, 'Okay, never seen Yami in that kind of role, and I'd like to give her (the role in 'Uri: The Surgical Strike)'. As far as your question is concerned, you just never know! I've never said anything before my producers and directors. So whenever something like that happens, of course, you would know!"

Going further in the interview, Yami Gautam talked about the kind of filmmaker her husband, Aditya Dhar, is and what things about him inspire and fascinates her. Heaping immense praises on her husband, Yami also added that Aditya never reads any of her scripts, but he is quite aware of the kind of role she is working on. She said:

"Aditya's (Dhar) mind and his ideas and his imagination of possibilities, that's extremely inspiring for me as an actor to hear, that's extremely fascinating for me to hear. He has never read any of my scripts but he is aware. This healthy discussion only helps me become a better actor and keep working on my perspective, keep broadening that horizon and that vision."
