In real-life, bumping into your ex can be really awkward as people share various memories together and there had to be some ugly past that had led to the breakup. We forbid meeting our exes or attending the events where we might happen to bump into them. However, our celebrities seem to be a pro at handling their exes as often they are seen sharing a cordial relationship and partying together. We have seen many B-town stars, who have parted their ways, share a beautiful bond with each other for the sake of their kids and otherwise as well. Also, many of them have made us feel the relationship of half-siblings can also be super cool. From Arjun Kapoor’s relationship with step-sisters, Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor to Aamir Khan’s kids, Ira and Azad, we have loved the bond of these half-siblings. Aamir Khan’s love life has always been the talk of the town. From writing a letter with blood for his ‘saamne wali khidki’ pyaar, first wife, Reena Dutt to falling in love with his film’s assistant director and now wife, Kiran Rao, Aamir Khan has proved that love knows no boundaries and bars. Despite all the fiasco, Reena Dutt and Kiran Rao share a warm bond and are often spotted together. And as the ex and current wife of Aamir share a beautiful bond, it is obvious that their kids will also get along well. Aamir Khan’s daughter, Ira Khan shares a beautiful bond with her half-brother, Azad Rao Khan and we love their bonding and goofy sessions.
Aamir Khan’s daughter, Ira Khan has been spending her lockdown with her father, his wife, Kiran Rao and their child, Azad. On May 23, 2020, Ira took to her Instagram handle and shared a picture from her playtime with her stepbrother, Azad Rao Khan. Ira calls her eight-year-old half-brother, Azad her “quarantine buddy”. Ira shared a monochrome picture with Azad, where Ira’s lips are bright red as she makes a pout, whereas, Azad covers his mouth with his hand as if he is trying to avoid the filter used by his sister. Take a look:
Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao had welcomed Azad Rao Khan on November 25, 2011, via surrogacy. On Azad’s 8th birthday, his half-sister, Ira Khan, daughter of Reena Dutt and Aamir Khan had taken to her Instagram and had posted a heartfelt wish for the little one. She had written a caption that can be read as “You adorable ball of cuteness! Happy Birthday, Azad. What a cool kid you're turning out to be! I can't wait to get to know you better. I hope I can be at least half the older sibling to you that Junaid was to me. Happy growing up! #babybrother #birthday #happybirthday.” Isn’t it adorable?
In an interview with the Deccan Chronicle, Aamir Khan had talked about the time when he couldn’t give enough time to his family and kids, Junaid Khan and Ira Khan. He had stated, “What I lost is a million-dollar question! I started working at the age of 18. Professionally, I got so engaged that I could hardly give time to my Ammi. Yes! A little later in life, after I got married and became the father of Junaid and Ira, I didn’t have much time for them either — owing to my busy schedule. I surely lost out on maintaining my relationships with my Ammi, kids, and wife Reena, and now Kiran as well." Aamir Khan had also added in the same interview, “I did miss out on a lot, I am sure, but I do not regret it. Simply because both my children Junaid and Ira are very close to me and we share a great relationship even now. If we had not shared a great relationship, then that would have been sad. Ammi also, I do visit her on and off. I’m there for all of them at critical times, but that’s not enough na? I am happy that they all understand me. If our relationship would have been fractured, then I would have felt bad. We all need to maintain a balance between work and personal commitments. I am sure all men and women will resonate with this thought of mine." (Don't Miss: Malaika Arora Takes Inspiration From BFF, Kareena's Quarantine Styling, Bebo's Reply Is Unmissable)
