The Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 actress and Laal Singh Chaddha actor are receiving a lot of hate for agreeing to do such a commercial, which was reportedly meant to intentionally hurt the sentiments of Hindus. The vehicle finance company was converted into a small finance bank back on April 19, 2017, and right now, it is going through a susceptible phase. With so many hashtags like #BoycottAUBank, #BoycottAUFSmallFinanceBank, #BanAUBankCommercial, #AntiHinduAUBank, #BoycottAUBankIndia, and many more, the situation keeps on getting worse with each passing hour for the AU Bank.

On October 3, 2022, AU Bank India took to their official Instagram handle and shared the video of its brand-new commercial. In the advertisement, we can see Kiara Advani and Aamir Khan all decked up in their respective wedding outfits. The couple can be seen chatting in a car after the vidaai ceremony. However, the catch was the fact that it was not Kiara, but Aamir, who decided to become a ghar jamai. After revealing the concept of ghar jamai, we saw Aamir put his foot first inside the house instead of Kiara, which was also wrong as per Hindu customs. However, the advertisement of AU Bank gives the message of #BadlaavHumseHai, loud and clear. Along with this advertisement, AU Bank penned a note in the caption, explaining their commercial's complete jest. The caption can be read as:
"A simple 'aisa kyun' can often be the small step needed for a giant leap of Badlaav. Ever since our inception, AU Bank has taken pride in challenging the status quo; because we believe that banking made easy, is banking done right. Isiliye, ab banking mein #BadlaavHumseHai.”
