Aamir Khan is one of the leading actors in the Hindi entertainment industry. He has been leading Bollywood for more than two decades and is immensely loved by fans for his unconventional movies and perfectionist traits. Aamir debuted in the industry as a child artist in the movie, Yaadon Ki Baaraat and later appeared in several movies, such as 3 Idiots, Holi, Dangal, Fanaa, Ghajini, and many more.
Aamir Khan recently appeared on Kapil Sharma's Netflix show, The Great Indian Kapil Show, where a fan asked him about his secret to such a youthful glow. It is hard to deny that even at the age of 59, Aamir Khan is quite fit and looks much younger than his age. The fan complimented him on his looks, to which Aamir gave all the credit to his father. In Aamir Khan's words:

Aamir Khan added that he is not into gyms and workouts and likes to take it easy. He is also not a great indulgent of skincare and uses soap for everything. When a film is about to come, he will work on his body to gain the desirable shape and then get back to his lazy ways. Aamir further added:
"I don't workout and I don't even apply any cream on my face. In fact, I got to know what a shampoo is when I became an actor, otherwise I used to use soap for everything. I don't do a single thing to make myself look good. When a film comes, I work on my body for that film. I am very lazy. I don't do anything."
In the same show, Aamir Khan shared that he wasn't even ready to play the role of an 18-year-old boy in the movie, 3 Idiots, as he thought people would laugh at him. At that time, he was a 44-year-old actor playing such a young character. Talking more about the same, Aamir added that he even told the director, Rajkumar Hirani to offer the film to a young actor. Still, the latter wanted to cast only Aamir. Aamir revealed:
"I wasn't even doing 3 Idiots because I thought the public would laugh at me as I was turning 44 and I am playing the role of an 18-year-old boy. It would be weird. I told Raju to take three youngsters but he was after me. I hadn't worked with Raju till then. I was a big fan but the story he brought me, I was like how will I play this young character."

Sharing why he finally opted to do the film, Aamir Khan stated that Rajkumar Hirani advised him to let success follow him, which is again the central message of 3 Idiots. Aamir said that Hirani reminded him of how he followed his passion and did the films, which were declared as flops by critics when announced but later got the desired success. Aamir added that he never signs a movie until he is sure about it, but for 3 Idiots, he was convinced by the director. In Aamir's words:
"My line in the film is, 'Don't chase success, instead be capable, success will follow you.' This was Raju's main thought behind the film. He told me, 'You have done films that could have never been a hit. For example, you did Taare Zameen Par and Lagaan …all these films were flops on the announcement. Then why did you do these films? You didn't do them thinking you will get success. It was your passion, so you did it. So, success followed you. Your entire career has been about this. So, if you say this line, people will believe it.' Then I thought Raju was a great director. I don't sign a film until I am sure, but this was the first time I went blindfolded because of him."
