Aamir Khan Consoles A 'Visibly Emotional' Ira Khan, Netizens Slam Paps, Says, 'Leave Her Alone...'

With a career spanning over three decades, he is one of the most notable stars of the country. However, recently, the actor opened up about how his dedication towards his art often took away from his personal life, and now, he is trying to be a hands-on father to his children. 

Aamir Khan consoled an emotional Ira Khan

Aamir Khan and his daughter, Ira Khan, recently stepped out of their homes when they met in Mumbai on March 17, 2025. Several clips from their outing have surfaced on the internet. However, a video has led people to think that Ira looked visibly emotional. In the clip posted by paparazzi, Ira was seen sharing something with Aamir as she walked away. The concerned father called his daughter back and gave her a hug.

Aamir Khan was also seen giving Ira a kiss before getting inside the car. Ira was also seen leaving the venue in her car and looked visibly upset. Dressed in a black T-shirt, dark grey pants and shoes, Ira opted for a messy updo for the day. Aamir, on the other hand, donned a blue T-shirt, denim pants and white sneakers. Even as they left, Ira looked upset. 

Netizens bash the paparazzi for not giving Aamir Khan and Ira Khan privacy

The video soon went viral on social media, garnering several comments from the netizens. A user pointed out how Ira looked like she was about to cry and stated, "She looks like she is about to cry or already cried. Ira is visibly emotional." Another penned, "Don't ash the camera on her face. She looks like she is in an emotional state." A user wrote, "Ira cried? She looks a little disturbed. Give her privacy." Another user in a long note stated:

"Ira is probably feeling emotional and offering her support to her dad due to the hate he has been receiving. Aamir finding his calm, peace and love again with Gauri is being ridiculed and shamed by a judgemental and sick society that can put even the strongest into depression!!"

Ira Khan has previously opened up about her mental health

In October 2020, Ira Khan revealed that she was diagnosed with clinical depression. She has since been extremely vocal about mental health and has also shared posts on Instagram in which she spoke about her anxiety attacks. In 2023, Aamir told News18 India, how Ira got support from her then-boyfriend-celebrity fitness trainer, Nupur Shikhare, when she was battling depression. For the unversed, Ira and Nupur celebrated their first wedding anniversary in January 2025. They tied the knot in an intimate wedding in January 2024. They first solemnised their relationship via a registered marriage at Taj Lands End, Bandra, in Mumbai on January 3, 2024.
