Aamir Khan Will Relocate To His Old House, Kiran Rao Plans To Refurbish It With The Nature Theme

Bollywood perfectionist, Aamir Khan is one of those few men, who likes to keep his private life private. However, there are a few things that the actor holds dear, from his wife to his life and his old Pali Hill house. (Recommend Read: Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor And Her Ex, Sidharth Malhotra Clicked At Karan Johar's Birthday Party)

But before we take you further into the story, let us give you a rewind at the actor's journey and his bond with the ancestral houses. We remember how in the year 2012, the actor had bought 22 properties from his uncles living in Uttar Pradesh. He had shared how he was attached to those houses in Shahabad as they were his ancestors and he didn't want to sell it off. And in 2016, on his birthday, the actor had shared his wish of buying his mother's childhood house and gift it to her as a parent.

Well, it perfectly sums up his love for the bricks that hold memories of good old days. Maybe that's the reason enough for him to move back to his old house in Pali Hills after six years. Yes, according to a report in the Mid-Day, Aamir is planning to move back to his old house. A source closed to him informed, "His lease at Freeda One is expiring soon, and he has decided to not renew it. The idea of relocating to Marina Apartments had been on his mind for quite some time. That's why he had ordered that the place be spruced up. With the renovation now complete, his old home is ready to welcome him back." The report further states his wife, Kiran Rao is refurbishing their abode with nature's theme. (Also Read: Sonali Bendre Wanted To Get Bald Right In The Beginning And This Is What Son, Ranveer Had Said)

Coming back to Aamir's wish of gifting his mother her childhood house. In an interview, he had shared, "My mom is almost 80 years old. I want to buy her childhood house and gift it to her. In fact, my biggest wish is not the success of Dangal (his upcoming film) but to buy my mom her childhood home in Banaras. I want her to experience her childhood home and want her to revisit the place."

He had further added, "When I travelled to Banaras, I visited the Assi Ghat. I also had the opportunity of seeing her house. I thought then, ‘Wish Ammi’s house was mine.’ I thought if I could request the people living there. It would make me very happy if I could have a home in Banaras."

In another interview with the DNA, he had stated, "My biggest wish is not the success of Dangal, but to buy my mom her childhood home in Varanasi. I want her to experience her childhood home and want her to revisit the place. I was thinking about buying the house and thought if I could request those people living there. It would make me very happy if I could have a home in Banaras. I've been to Assi ghat. Varanasi is a beautiful and historic place. So, If I get a home there, my mom's home there, that will give me the biggest happiness. Let's hope it happens." (Don't Miss: Soha Shares Pataudi Family Picture With Saif-Kareena-Taimur, Sara-Ibrahim And Sharmila Tagore)
