Actor, Aasif Khan is known to play supporting and character roles in different films and web series. The actor who played impactful roles with his impressive acting skills gained popularity by playing the role of ‘Babar’ in the web series, Mirzapur and ‘Ganesh’ in Panchayat. Coming from a middle class family, it took several years for him to get his due. Recently, the actor shared some interesting incidents from his career.
Aasif recently sat down for an interview with Pinkvilla’s Hindi Rush YouTube channel and shared an interesting incident. He shared that when he worked on a small role in the film, Pari he first got to know that there is something known as Airpods. He was quoted as saying:

“When we were shooting Pari, I heard the name of AirPods for the first time because of her. So whenever there was a cut during her scenes, someone used to give her pods to put in and I used to wonder what is this that she is putting in her ears. So for the first time in my life, I saw AirPods with her.”

After sharing the interesting incident from the sets of Pari, he was asked whether he met the actress or not. In his answer, Aasif revealed that he met Anushka Sharma before the shoot began. However, his role of ‘Ismail’ had a short screen time. So, he didn't have much direct conversations with her during the shoot. The Mirzapur actor said:
“I met her before Pataal Lok. There was a film of her Pari where I had a brief role of barely 1.5 seconds.
Aasif is waiting for the release of his next film, Kakuda. In the project, he will be seen alongside Sonakshi Sinha. He shared that during Raksha Bandhan, Sonakshi couldn't go home. For the unversed, Sonakshi Sinha has two brothers, Luv and Kush Sinha. The Dabangg actress was sad as she missed her brothers. Aasif saw that and wrote a poem for her on the special festival. She read it and came quickly to tie him Rakhi. In his words:
"So, she texted me asking where I was. I told her I was in my room. She said come quickly. So, when I went, she had kept the Rakhi prepared and that is how we became brother and sister.”
