Arpita Khan's husband, Aayush Sharma is a famous actor in the Hindi film industry. He stepped into Bollywood with the movie, Loveyatri. Apart from that, he was also seen in the movie, Antim: The Final Truth. Moreover, it was back in 2014 when Aayush got married to Salman Khan's sister, Arpita. However, being linked with the Khan family, there had been a lot of gossip around Aayush about nepotism. Now, the Loveyatri actor reacted to the same.
Aayush Sharma recently sat for an interview with Siddharth Kannan and opened up about the irritation around the nepotism debate. The actor said that when he was getting married to Arpita Khan, people said that he got a diamond-studded sherwani and even a Bentley in dowry. Now reacting to the same, Aayush mentioned:
"Social media decided a lot of the things for me. I remember when I was getting married some said that I got a diamond-studded sherwani as a gift. I still haven’t gotten that sherwani. Some said I got Bentley in dowry. Where is that Bentley? Not that I want it.”

Going forward in the interview, Aayush Sharma stated that when he got married to Arpita Khan, people said that he was getting married for money or to enter Bollywood. Talking more about the same, the Loveyatri actor remarked that he comes from a political family and was a struggling actor back then. He also added that he has a lot of things in his life and it's because of his parents. Aayush said that before he was even friends with Arpita, he had already given 300 auditions, so all these conversations about him marrying Salman's sister for money and career were nothing but baseless. In Aayush's words:
"Also, I had given 300 auditions before getting an entry in Bollywood and me and Arpita became friends at the time I was a struggling actor. So, will Arpita not know about my character before marriage. Was she that naive? Won’t the whole Khan family know about me? This is a baseless conversation.”
In the same interview, Aayush also shared that he had even decided to quit acting before tying the knot with Arpita Khan, as he was tired of giving 300 auditions and nothing was happening. He mentioned that his brother-in-law, Salman Khan then helped him. Aayush said that Salman offered him training by saying that the former's training was not good. Aayush mentioned:
"What they don’t know is that when my marriage with Arpita was finalised I told Salman sir that I don’t want to act because I had given 300 auditions and nothing happened. I told him I can’t do it. He said that my training hasn’t been good and offered to train me.”
