Being a celebrity isn’t a cakewalk and it isn’t as glamorous as it looks. Their ‘live life, king size’ lifestyle comes with its own set of pros and cons. The celebrities are always hounded by the media scrutiny and are flooded with questions about their personal life. Despite refuting the speculations regarding their personal life, there are some rumours about them that don’t seem to fade away. Similar was the case with Kasautii Zindagii Kay fame, Shweta Tiwari. After an unhappy first marriage with Raja Chaudhary, Shweta Tiwari had tied the knot for the second time with Abhinav Kohli. From her first marriage, Shweta was blessed with a daughter, Palak Tiwari and later, in 2016, she and Abhinav were on cloud nine with the arrival of their little bundle of joy, Reyansh Kohli. Everything seemed greener on their side until a report emerged on the internet about trouble in Abhinav and Shweta’s paradise.
A SpotboyE report had claimed that Shweta Tiwari had lodged a police complaint against Abhinav Kohli, accusing him of domestic violence. Abhinav was then sent to police custody till August 13, 2019. After his bail, Abhinav attended an event in Mumbai wherein he was asked to comment on his personal life. When SpotboyE asked him if he was fine, Abhinav answered, “I am recovering.” When probed if this was disturbing for him, Abhinav replied, “It is, very, for me, it is not over yet it's still on.” (Also Read: Vivian Dsena's Rumoured Ex, Garima Jain Calls Off Her Engagement Within 2 Months, Reveals Reason)
Abhinav Kohli was then questioned if he was back to normal life, to which he answered, “I am back to life for sure but normalcy will take some time, a little bit.” When asked if he had met Shweta after coming out, Abhinav retorted, “Yes, I have met her.” On asked about what happened between them, his mother, Poonam Kohli, interrupted and said, “It is a family matter.” And Abhinav concluded on the note, “I’ll talk about it later.”

Revealing that her step-father, Abhinav Kohli has never physically molested or touched her inappropriately, Palak Tiwari continued, “It’s beyond disgusting and its time that I stand up for my mother for she is the strongest person I know and since out of all of us I’m the only person who’s witnessed her struggle day in and day out, my opinion is the only one that matters. Abhinav Kohli has never physically molested me, or touched me inappropriately. Before spreading something of this caliber or even believing it, its imperative you as readers know the veracity of the facts that you’re blindly divulging endlessly. However, he did persistently make inappropriate and disturbing remarks the impact of which is only known to my mother and I, and if any woman from any walk of life were to hear them she would be greatly embarrassed and provoked too. Words which would question the standing dignity of any woman, which you wouldn’t expect to hear from any man, especially not your “father”. Seeing our lives through social media, reading about us in the papers can only tell you so much about our struggles, but never enough to comment on them. Today as a proud daughter, I’m here to tell you that my mother is the most respectable individual that I’ve ever come across, the MOST self sufficient, one who’s never required or even had a man provide for her and has always taken the social standing of a “man” in both the families that we’ve been a part of.” (Also Read: Urvashi Dholakia's Sons, Sagar And Kshitij Believe Ex-BF, Anuj Sachdeva Is Perfect For Their Mom)
