Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan are one of the 'It' couples in the Hindi film industry. The couple had been a part of several movies, such as Umrao Jaan, Raavan, and Sarkar Raj, among others. However, their on-screen chemistry sparked mutual romantic feelings for one another, and they ended up being a real-life couple. The duo dated for a brief period of time before tying the knot in 2007. And after a few years of marital bliss, Aishwarya and Abhishek became parents to their daughter, Aaradhya.
Reports have claimed that Aishwarya and Abhishek had a few issues in their marital life, but they never paid any attention to it and continued to dismiss all the gossip around them. Yet the same thing happened again, as Abhishek recently expressed his wish to work with Aishwarya. As his and Aishwarya's film, Raavan marked its 14th year in June 2024, Abhishek sat for an interview with Subhash K Jha and talked about the same.

Talking about the film, the actor said that the movie had been challenging for him both emotionally and physically, and it had sapped it in every way possible. When the interviewer mentioned that he had not worked with Aishwarya since Raavan, Abhishek stated that both he and his wife are dying to work with one another, but they are just waiting for the right script for themselves. Abhishek can be quoted as saying:
"We are dying to. We are just waiting for the right script."
In the same interview, Abhishek Bachchan was asked if he was a bit concerned about his wife, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's safety while doing Raavan, as most of this film had been shot in the jungles. To this, the actor said that he's a normal person and a normal husband, and he was surely concerned about his wife's well-being and vice versa. He also called his wife 'very, very strong' when asked about her dedication to do some tough scenes that the role required in the movie, Raavan. Abhishek said:
"I am a normal man and a normal husband. I was definitely concerned for my wife's well being and she was equally concerned about me. Oh, she's very, very strong. But Mani wouldn't allow her to do anything that was unsafe. Speaking for myself, it was great fun. Ask any of Mani's actors. They'll tell you they're willing to do anything he asks them to."
Reports about everything not being well in the Bachchan clan, along with Aishwarya, had been making headlines for years now. The same gets ignited for one reason or another. Recently, when Aishwarya and Abhishek's film, Raavan clocked 14 years, Amitabh Bachchan took to his social media handle and heaped praise on his son.

He had mentioned that Abhishek's craft in that movie was simply unforgotable and it was different than other movies, which surely can be considered as the value of a true artist. As soon as he dropped the post, netizens rushed to the comment section and pointed out why Big B didn't give any credit to Aishwarya, who was also a part of the movie, and the whole incident yet again ignited the rumours about family discord.
