Abhishek Bachchan, one of the most talented actors in Bollywood, has seen his career grow rapidly. He made his debut in 2000 with the film Refugee, following in the footsteps of his parents, the eminent actors Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan. Since then, he has been in a plethora of films, and his dedication and hard work have earned him innumerable awards. Junior AB will now be seen in I Want To Talk, directed by Shoojit Sircar.
In his personal life, Abhishek is married to Aishwarya Rai, and the duo have a daughter, Aaradhya Bachchan. The little one recently turned 13 years old, but Abhishek was nowhere to be seen at her birthday bash. This raised many eyebrows about the rifts between the couple. Now, Abhishek, for the first time in a while, spoke about Aaradhya.
Abhsihke Bachchcna recently appeared on Kaun Banega Crorepati 16, where he spoke about his recently released film, I Want To Talk. The movie explores the troubled relationship of a single father with his daughter. He told his father, Amitabh Bachchan, that he deeply understands the emotion of the movie as he has a daughter, Shweta Bachchan Nanda.
Abhishek then added that he deeply resonated with the character's feelings as he is also a girl dad to Aaradhya, and even his director, Shoojit Sircar, has two daughters. He liked how his character in the film fought his battles and never gave up, as he promised his daughter that he would do so. Abhishek further added:
“Aaradhya is my daughter, and Shoojit da has two daughters. We are all 'girl dads,' and we truly understand that emotion.”
Abhishek plays 'Arjun' in I Want To Talk. During an interview with Shoojit, he said his character 'Arjun' has only 100 days to live, coupled with what his daughter told him, ‘Will you dance at my wedding?’ Abhishek noted that for any father, the anticipation of giving your daughter away is one of the high points of anyone's life. It’s something that one looks forward to and plans for, whatever one's relationship with one's child is. He is motivated to be there for his kid, and he’s willing to do whatever it takes because of his promise. He resonated the same with his daughter Aaradhya and said:

"My daughter is still much younger than (the character), but for a father to feel that emotion of ‘I need to do whatever it takes to be there for my daughter’, is one of the main reasons for deciding."
