Abhishek Bachchan is one of the most handsome and talented actors in Bollywood. The actor often wins our hearts with his acting skills, personality, and intelligence. Son of the veteran actors, Jaya Bachchan and Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek, apart from being a wonderful actor, is a doting beta to his parents, and he leaves no stone unturned to prove the same. Talking about his professional life, Abhishek is going to appear the silver screens again with his movie, I Want To Talk, in collaboration with Shoojit Sircar. And now, the director shared that while everyone talks about Abhishek's similarities to Amitabh Bachchan, he is much like his mother.
In an interview with India Today, Shoojit Sircar shared that everyone feels that Abhishek Bachchan is much like his father, Amitabh Bachchan, but his mannerism mirrors his mom, Jaya Bachchan. Shoojit mentioned that Abhishek is much like his mom in the way he talks or acts. The director stated that Abhishek's eyes are much like Jaya Bachchan's. In Shoojit's words:

"Everyone talks about how much he is like his father, but I saw a lot of Jaya di, especially in his eyes, his mannerisms, and just the way he talks. We have seen Jaya di in films like Mahanagar or Abhimaan… how pure she was. I saw that same purity in Abhishek. His eyes spoke to me.”
Going further in the interview, Shoojit Sircar revealed the thing that differentiates Abhishek Bachchan from Amitabh Bachchan. The director stated that while Amitabh likes to rehearse for long hours on the sets, Abhishek basically hangs on the sets. The filmmaker mentioned that Abhishek keeps going over the script repeatedly, grasps everything that is needed, and stays in the character mostly. According to Shoojit, Abhishek completely surrendered himself to the character of 'Arjun' in I Want To Talk. In Shoojit's words:
"With Bachchan sir, he likes to rehearse a lot, for hours. But Abhishek likes to hang around on set, grasp everything, and go over the script repeatedly. For this film (I Want To Talk), however, he was so simple and disciplined. He surrendered himself completely to becoming Arjun. You won’t see anything else in the film. Even on set, he was the character."
Earlier, Abhishek Bachchan shared that one of his personal life incidents helped him to connect to his character in I Want To Talk. The actor mentioned that during the lockdown, Aaradhya was reading a storybook, wherein 'help' was described as the strongest word in the world, as it signifies that one needs to move forward and never give up, irrespective of the situation.
