Abhishek Bachchan had followed his father, Amitabh Bachchan and mother, Jaya Bachchan and had stepped into Bollywood. Over the years, he has created a niche for himself and etched a special place in our hearts. From Yuva, Guru, Bunty Aur Babli, Dhoom to Bob Biswas, Abhishek has proved his mettle of acting. He is one of the most versatile actors present in Bollywood!
For the unversed, Abhishek had studied acting in Boston. But he had to fly back to India, leaving his course midway because of a financial crisis that his family had once gone through. Abhishek being the doting son that he is had come back from Boston to support his father, Amitabh Bachchan and their family.

In a recent conversation at The Ranveer Podcast Show, Abhishek talked about the difficult times the Bachchan family had once faced. He revealed that when he was in Boston, Amitabh Bachchan had gone through a major financial setback. At that time, Abhishek had left his acting course midway in Boston to support his father. In his words:
"I spoke to my father from college. My family was going through a difficult financial time. And I just felt as a son, although I might not have been qualified at that point of time, that I needed to be with my father. Even for moral support. He's a big guy on moral support. He likes to know his family's around."
Further adding to the conversation, Abhishek mentioned that his father, Amitabh Bachchan, had to borrow money from his staff to put food on the table, and that's how bad the financial condition was. Talking about the same, he said:
"I said I can't be here sitting in Boston when my father doesn't know how he's going to get dinner. And that's how bad it was. And he said it publicly. He had to borrow money from his staff to put food on the table. I just felt morally obliged to be with him. I called him and I said 'You know dad, I think I want to leave college half-way and comeback and just be with you, try and help you in whatever way. At least you'll know that your boy is next to you and he's there for you'."

Abhishek further opened up about how Amitabh had reacted to it. Speaking about the same, The Big Bull actor revealed that his father was glad that he thought through this. He shared that Amitabh had said:
'I'm glad, come back. Bhasha sikho. Because Shakespeare doesn't work over here."
In the 1000th episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati, Amitabh Bachchan had revealed that he had entered the television industry in 2002 when he had no work in his hands. He had said:
"My circumstances were such that I wasn't getting any work in films at that time, but after the show premiered, the kind of reactions I received made me believe that the world changed for me."
For the uninitiated, Abhishek Bachchan had made his Bollywood debut in 2000 with the film, Refugee.
