Rani Mukerji is a popular Indian actress. She has amazed everyone with her stellar performances in films like Chalte Chalte, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Black, Hichki, Mardaani, and Mardaani 2. In 2014, Rani Mukerji had tied the nuptial knot with the well-acclaimed director of B-town, Aditya Chopra, in an intimate wedding ceremony. Rani and Aditya had a secret wedding, and not many B-Town celebrities were aware of it. The couple has been happily married for 7 long years now.
After a year-and-a-half of their married life, Rani and Aditya were blessed with a baby girl whom they have named Adira Chopra. Adira's name is an amalgamation of Aditya and Rani's names. Talking about Rani's relationship with her daughter, Adira, we can say it is very special. Rani immensely loves her, and in a recent interview, the actress shared how her daughter, Adira, had helped her in selecting Babli's costume's in the movie.

In an interview with News18, Rani revealed that her daughter, Adira had travelled along with her to Abu Dhabi for the shooting of her film, Bunty Aur Babli 2. The actress also shared that her little girl helped her choose the costumes for her character, 'Babli'. She said:
“She was a part of the shooting process while I was shooting in Abu Dhabi and even helped me choose a lot of costumes and accessories. I remember I was in London, when Adira actually came along and insisted that she wanted to come and help me choose. She actually single-handedly chose everything and she has coordinated my looks. So, Adira has a special connection with Bunty Aur Babli 2.”
Further in the interview, Rani also said that her 5-year old daughter, Adira watched the film and enjoyed it a lot. She said that her daughter really enjoys her doing comedy roles and doesn't like her mommy doing serious films. Rani also shared that Adira was intrigued by the fact that her mother had a 10-year-old son called 'Pappu' in the film. Talking about the same, she said:
“She loved me in the film. She really likes me doing comedy roles and never likes me doing serious films. She was laughing and rolling over while watching the film so seeing her enjoying the film fills my heart with happiness. In fact, she was quite intrigued with the fact that I have a 10-year-old son called Pappu in the film. Probably when she grows I will know exactly what she feels as right now she is too small to articulate in proper expressions.”

In another interview with Bollywood Bubble, Rani Mukerji had opened up about people's perception around married actresses in Bollywood. Rani had revealed whether actresses after their marriage have a shelf life in the film industry or it's just a myth created by some people about the Hindi film industry. Talking about the same, she had said:
"From where I see it, there were married actresses back then. I don't think there is anything new that I am doing."
In the same interview, Rani Mukerji had also stated that she isn't doing something unique or new by working after her marriage, as she has already seen many actresses, who were and are working after their marriages. Calling it a completely normal thing, she had said:
"There have been actresses who have worked being pregnant.I have heard stories of them being pregnant and shooting. So, I think it's just a myth that people think that married actresses or actresses with children can't really make it in films and there is shelf life."
On the professional front, Rani Mukerji's much-awaited film, Bunty Aur Babli 2, has been released in theatres. It is a sequel to her film, Bunty Aur Babli, which was released in 2005.
