Aditi Rao Hydari and Siddharth's love blossomed after meeting on the sets of Maha Samudram in 2021. The duo became the talk of the town ever since the news of them giving love a second chance broke. Yes, both Aditi and Siddharth's previous marriages were unsuccessful, but they found solace in each other. The couple's heartfelt wedding ceremony at a historic 400-year-old temple in Wanarpathy, Telangana, touched fans with its simplicity and meaningfulness. For the unversed, the location of the traditional and intimate affair held a deep significance for Aditi's family, making fans believe that a lot of thought went into their wedding planning. However, Aditi recently opened up about the reality behind their beautiful ceremony.
Aditi Rao Hydari appeared for Day 3 of Sahitya AajTak 2024 as part of Heeramandi Ke Sitare session. During the same, the actress opened up about barely making any plans for her wedding, as she and Siddharth had merely followed their hearts. Speaking about the intimate ceremony that took place amidst people who 'truly blessed' the couple, Aditi said:
"I didn't plan much because this was something I truly wanted to do. The temple where we got married has been in my family for 400 years, built by my ancestors. It holds a special place for my family, and since I am very close to my nana and nani, getting married there felt like being closer to them. It was just the family, cousins, and of course, Sid and me."
According to Aditi, the way people were now discussing her and Siddharth's wedding made it seem very well thought-out. However, in reality, they were just 'kids in love.' In Aditi's words:
"Honestly, we had not thought about this much. But now, the way people are speaking, it seems that it was thought out. But it was something we did from our heart. We were just like two kids in love and doing what we wanted to do around people who truly blessed us from their hearts."
Aditi Rao Hydari recalled Siddharth's heart-rending proposal at her favorite place during a conversation with Vogue India. According to the Kaatru Veliyidai actress, Siddharth had one day asked to see the school that was started by her nani , who passed away a few years ago.
Aditi further revealed that she had been closest to her late grandmother, something her now-husband was well aware of. Reminiscing over the moving proposal, Aditi narrated:

"He got down on his knees and I asked him, "Now what have you lost? 'Whose shoelaces are open?' He kept saying, 'Addu, listen to me'. And then he proposed. He said he wanted to bring me to my favorite childhood place, one with my grandmother's blessings."
Siddharth first spoke about his engagement with Aditi Rao Hydari at the Galatta Golden Stars event. The Bommarillu actor revealed that he was scared about whether Aditi would say 'yes' to his proposal. He also talked about his wedding date, admitting that their family elders decided it, as it was a 'lifetime date' and not a shooting date.
