Her crescent moon-shaped alta design for her wedding set a new trend out there for the upcoming brides in the line, who are fans of soft and sophisticated fashion, and that too with deep-rooted symbolisms.

Aditi Rao Hydari has been quite thoughtful about her wedding look, and this can be proved only by her alta design. The actress donned the back of her hands and feet with the symbol of half-moon. She highlighted her classy alta design with dots under her nails on each finger on both her hands and feet. To make it look gorgeous, Aditi adorned her feet with a sleek outline with alta, which further highlighted the crescent moon design. While everyone is quite amazed by the thoughtful alta design that Aditi chose for her wedding, it also has a deep meaning in Hinduism. For the unversed, half moon or crescent moon symbolises timelessness.
Apart from that, the crescent moon design also has a divine touch embedded within it, as lord Shiva's head is also adorned with a half-moon. A crescent moon has several kinds of meanings in several religions, and it's also believed that this sign is worn by people for good luck. For her wedding, Aditi Rao Hydari donned a soft-toned traditional lehenga from the ace designer, Sabyasachi Mukherjee. The lehenga was in a beige tone, and it was highlighted with a golden border overall. The base of the dupatta had round patterns made upon it, and the actress pinned the dupatta like a pallu. She teamed her lehenga with a matching blouse, which had golden strips all over and was highlighted with embellished golden borders.

Aditi ditched heavy jewels and opted for some elegant kundan pieces from Sabyasachi Mukherjee, that included a statement choker, jadau kundan payals, kundan bangles, a nolok, and a pair of jhumkis. Aditi finalised her look with a dewy makeup base and left her hair in braids adorned with gajra, and looked like a dream.
