Adnaan Shaikh has been dominating the headlines lately, owing to the controversy that erupted around his wedding with Ayesha Shaikh. While the couple got married in a low-key ceremony, soon after that, Bigg Boss OTT 3 fame, Adnaan's sister, Iffat made shocking claims, stating how the former had beaten her and she lodged an FIR against him. Iffat went on to reveal that Ayesha was a Hindu and converted to Islam to marry Adnaan. While Adnaan had dismissed the claims made by his sister, now the latter shared some startling anecdotes.
In a recent interview with Free Press Journal, Adnaan Shaikh's sister, Iffat was asked to reveal what exactly happened between her and her brother. Talking about the same, Iffat revealed that she and Adnaan used to be very close, and infact, she was the one, to whom the Bigg Boss OTT 3 contestant first time opened up about his feelings for his now-wife and then-girlfriend, Ayesha, aka, Riddhi Jadhav. Iffat shared she taught Riddhi about Hijab, and Adaan advised her to be with his wife as the latter would come to their house, leaving her own family. In Iffat's words:

"I was the first person Adnaan spoke about Riddhi to. He asked me to keep her with me and teach her 'Hijab.' He said, 'Wo apna ghar chhod kar aayegi, uske sath reh, usey chize sikha.' And I did that too. I also have a picture which she had posted on her Instagram from her ID Riddhi Jadhav which she has now deleted. Jo bhi hijab aaj wo kar rahi hai wo usey maine sikhaya hai."
Iffat went on to reveal how she and Ayesha used to share a very good bond before the latter's marriage with Adnaan, so much so that they revealed each other's secrets to one another. Iffat stated that once, during Adnaan and Ayesha's fight, the latter revealed all her secrets to her brother, and she also did the same, following which her brother advised everyone in their family not to be in touch with her. She mentioned:
"So when we would be together, we developed a good bond. Tab wo hone wali biwi thi na, usey family mein aana tha toh tab she was good only. When we shared a good bond, we shared a few secrets about our lives with each other. And jab uske aur Adnaan ke beech jhagde chal rahe thhe, she said all of my secrets to him. Fir main bhi chup nahi bethi, maine bhi uska sab bata dia. This is what created rifts between Adnaan and I. He has issued strict warnings to my family to not be in touch with me."
She also remarked how Adnaan hit her and her father-in-law. She even accused her brother, Adnaan of kicking her in her private parts. Iffat can be quoted as saying:
"Sabko bolta hai ke main ghar chalata hoon, aur koi usse touch mein nahi rahega. He hit me, he hit my father in law, he did all of this on the road. I kept screaming, asking someone to record it. He kicked me in my private parts too."
Going further in the interview, Iffat revealed that it was not the first time that Adnaan had beaten her, but he used to do the same, and their parents would make him apologise to her, thus she would let it go. She also dismissed the claims of flirting with Adnaan's friends and demanding a 2-BHK apartment from her brother after her wedding.

In the concluding segment of the interview, Adnaan's sister was asked if she would want to sort things out. To this, she shared that she wants to go in the path of law and give it back to her brother. She also stated that Adnaan was jailed after she lodged the FIR, but was released later. Iffat said:
"Ye kal main gayi thi ek senior se milne in the police station, I came to know that he was jailed but later got released. He was jailed after I filed a complaint but he is out now."
