The actor played the character of a RAW officer named, 'Vijay Kumar,' which was termed by the netizens as the series 'surprise package.' Even after so many decades, the charismatic actor still got his screen presence absolutely on point. Ahead of his 46th birthday on June 25, 2024, Sirf Ek Bandaa Kafi Hai's producer, Asif Shaikh announced the musical-horror film, Kasoor. The film is directed by Glen Barretto, and Aftab will be joined by Urvashi Rautela.

Once, in an old interview with ETimes, Aftab Shivdasani opened up about his love story. The actor shared how he met the love of his life, Nin Dusanj, for the first time and why he fell in love with her. Sharing his thoughts on the same, Aftab revealed that he saw Nin for the first time at a bookstore, where he was invited as a guest speaker for a book reading session while Nin was sitting in the audience. The actor continued by saying that Nin was sitting in the first row, and the moment he saw her, Aftab fell in love with her. Aftab added that he liked the way Nin wasn't trying to grab any attention and was just 'being herself.' The actor admitted that there was some divine force behind their sudden meeting. He said:
"We met at a bookstore at a book reading where I was a guest speaker and she was sitting in the audience. She sat on the front row and the moment I saw her, I was mesmerised, literally. What I fell in love with was her simplicity and the fact that she was not trying to grab any attention and in fact she was just being herself. There was something magical happening during the event - it's like we were both placed there by a divine force to meet and fall in love."
Aftab Shivdasani and Nin Dusanj instantly fell in love with each other after their first in-person interaction. However, what's even more interesting is that after dating for just three weeks, Aftab popped the question of marriage to her. Opening up about the same, Aftab shared that they were at a spiritual place, and he proposed to Nin for marriage, and the latter accepted it on the go. He said:
"It didn't take much time thereafter and I literally popped the question to her three weeks later! We were at a spiritual place when I asked her to marry me. The rest is history."

For the uninitiated, Aftab Shivdasani and Nin Dusanj got married on June 11, 2014, in an intimate wedding ceremony, and only close family members were invited. The couple got married again on August 29, 2017, in Sri Lanka's iconic resort, Anantara Peace Haven Tangalle Resort.
It was a lavish destination wedding, and many famous celebrities attended it. Three years after their second wedding, Aftab Shivdasani and Nin Dusanj welcomed their first child, a baby girl, whom they named Nevaeh.
One of the most interesting facts about Aftab Shivdasani's wife, Nin Dusanj is that she is the younger sister of iconic Bollywood actor, Kabir Bedi's fourth wife, Parveen Dusanj. Time and again, we have seen Aftab and Nin attending several festivities of the Bedi family and vice versa.
