Sunny Leone, aka Karenjit Kaur Vohra, left the adult film industry and then stepped into the Indian entertainment industry. After participating in the infamous reality TV show, Bigg Boss 5, Sunny debuted in Bollywood with the film, Jism 2. Since then, she has worked in several other movies like Jackpot, Ragini MMS 2, Ek Paheli Leela, and many more. But she failed to leave an indelible impression on the audience with her acting. However, Sunny made a name for herself in the industry with her hosting skills.
Sunny Leone has been hosting MTV Splitsvilla for nine years, and she recently returned to TV with the dating show’s all-new season, Spiltsvilla X5: Exsqueeze Me, Please! Sunny was asked if being judged by people still impacts her. The actress-turned-host said that, at the end of the day, she, too, is a human being, and people’s negative judgments impact her. However, she mentioned that people around her keep her in an emotional happy state. Counting her blessings amidst all the negativity, Sunny said:
“I am human, so of course people judging in a negative way does affect me. But I think the ever-big wall and people in front of me protect me and keep my emotional state always happy. I am in a really good place emotionally with my family and career, and all the people around me. I feel really lucky right now. I am happy in the space I am in, I think I have had so many amazing things that have happened and so many that are happening. I love my life and career, of course, that person inside me wants more and more, but you have to take things as they come and see what happens in life.”
Sunny’s statement came after Kangana Ranaut, who recently joined politics, talked about labelling Urmila Matondkar as a “softcore porn actress”. While speaking at the Times Now Summit, Kangana tried to justify her stance and said that there is no country in the world that treats porn stars with as much respect as Indians do, and Sunny Leone can be asked about the same matter.
