Aishwarya-Abhishek's Rare Wedding Album: Jaya And Amitabh Bachchan Perform, Shweta Dances In Baraat

Abhishek Bachchan tied the knot with the ever-so-gorgeous, Aishwarya Rai, on April 20, 2007. The couple has been married for 17 years now, and they are proud parents of their baby girl, Aaradhya Bachchan. Abhishek and Aishwarya are hailed among the most loved couples in Tinseltown, and their fans never miss a chance to adore them. However, for some time now, the duo has been leading the headlines for their alleged separation.

Amid the ongoing rumours of troubles in Abhishek and Aishwarya Rai's paradise, we got hold of a series of pictures from the duo's wedding festivities. The first picture showed Amitabh and Jaya joyfully performing a traditional dance at the function. Jaya looked beautiful in a peach-hued suit with threadwork and teamed it with an embroidered green and gold dupatta. Amitabh also flaunted a broad smile as he matched the steps with his wife. We can also see a delighted Aishwarya happily clapping and cheering for the couple in the picture.

Shweta Bachchan danced in Abhishek Bachchan's baraat

Another candid moment showed Shweta Bachchan cheerfully dancing in her brother, Abhishek Bachchan's baraat. She was dressed in a silver-hued shimmery lehenga and draped her dupatta in saree style. Completing her look with heavy jewellery, Shweta opted for a mid-parted hairdo. Beside her, we can see Amitabh Bachchan looking dapper in an embellished sherwani as he shook a leg on the beats of the dhol.

In another photo, Jaya Bachchan can be seen performing aarti for her son, Abhishek, who was sitting there as a groom. He had a floral sehra covering his face, and he was flaunting henna on his hands. The traditional ritual signifies a mother's blessings for her son as he embarks on a new journey in life. However, the most adorable picture was of Navya Naveli Nanda, who was seen twinning with her mom, Shweta Bachchan, in an ivory-hued saree. But Navya was standing with her back towards the camera.

Aishwarya Rai's wedding outfit was not worth Rs. 75 lakh

For some time now, reports have been rife that Aishwarya Rai's wedding outfit, designed by Neeta Lulla, was worth Rs. 75 lakh. However, in an old interview with Bollywood Hungama, Neeta cleared the air around the same and stated that these are nothing but 'afwaah'. She further added that Aishwarya donned a minimalistic Kanjeevaram saree, which can't cost a crore or 75 lakh. Neeta stated that Aishwarya's basic saree was complemented by a well-cut, well-fitted embroidered zardozi blouse and requested people not to count the cost of her temple jewellery.
