Talking about the same, the actress mentioned that she didn't pay any attention to the fact that she had gained weight. Aishwarya also said that despite being from the glamour world, she accepted the fact that her body had undergone changes after becoming a mother. Further, the actress also revealed that she was comfortable in her own skin, and many women actually applauded her for flaunting her overweight body without any shame. In her words:
"I didn't over think the fact that I had put on weight. I didn't do anything as expected of someone who came with all the adages as me. There's a lot of glamour and a lot of visual that is attached to me. If my body did go through this change, so be it. I didn't play into the stereotype of what is possible. I was genuinely comfortable in my skin and I got recognition along the way. Women who met me publicly, thanked me for the fact that I was giving them strength to be comfortable with the natural change. My comfort and my conviction to just say true, in turn, gave strength to so many women. It's okay that your body changes physically from health reasons or otherwise and it's okay to choose to dress the way you want to. I am happy with my weight and I love my daughter."
Though Aishwarya didn't pay any heed to what people were saying about her post-pregnancy weight gain, she did make effords to transform her body. Moreover, rather than taking the help of expensive techniques to lose her weight, the actress chose the natural way to get back to her normal body. So, let's take a look at her fitness regime and gain some inspiration.
Aishwarya lost her post-pregnancy weight without following any popular commercial diet chart, and instead, she stuck to traditional methods to transform her body. It is a well-known fact that the first meal of the day plays a great role in keeping a body healthy and fit. And Aishwarya too believed in this. So, to lose weight, the actress prioritised her breakfast. Starting her day with honey-lemon water, Aishwarya went on to have a proper breakfast that included a brekkie of brown bread toast or a steaming bowl of freshly cooked oats to load up on protein and fibre.
Former Miss World, Aishwarya is not the kind of person who munches over a lavish and fancy lifestyle. Instead, she believes in leading a simple and healthy lifestyle. And she followed the same, when it came to transforming her body. For instance, during her lunch, Aishwarya used to have boiled vegetables which are full of nutrients and can be easily digested. Occasionally, she even included a bowl of dal and roti in her diet. This meal makes for a great diet for all preggers who want to transform their body post-pregnancy.

Aishwarya doesn't believe in starving to death to lose weight and get a slim body. Her secret to having a healthy body post-pregnancy was saying no to starvation. In between her proper three-time meal, Aishwarya used to have snacks to avoid cravings as it leads to weight gain. However, she kept it also healthy as instead of eating junk foods, Aishwarya added fruits, juices without sugar, and vegetables to her snacks. And, no doubt, it helped her miraculously.
Dinner is the last meal of the day, and it should be light in order to digest it properly. And Aishwarya followed this rule strictly in her fitness regime. The actress included a cup of brown rice and grilled fish in her dinner and kept it light. Brown rice is rich in fibre, while fish provides omega-3 fatty acids, which are great for losing weight and maintaining a healthy body.
Unlike other actresses, Aishwarya doesn't believe in sweating it out in the gym to lose weight. Rather, she transformed her body magnificently just by having a proper and healthy meal and performing yoga. The actress got her lean figure back by relying on the power of yoga. Although she hit the gym twice a week, she mastered the art of yoga to regain her toned body and flexibility.
