Well, one of Aishwarya's iconic roles was in the 2018 film, Jodhaa Akbar. In the movie, her royal looks were something that still holds a special place in the hearts of her fans. Her iconic red lehenga from the film, which was designed by Neta Lulla, recently made a mark on the global platform as it's all set to be a part of the Oscars organisation, Academy Museum's Color in Motion exhibition. Recently, The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) gave a shout-out to the 'Queen' Aishwarya Rai Bachchan on their official IG page through a video, which featured several clips of the actress from her movie, Jodhaa Akbar.

The video also captured Aishwarya's iconic red lehenga from the film being dolled up on a mannequin. As per the post's caption, the jaw-dropping lehenga, which was designed by Neeta Lulla, was not only a costume but was a legacy. Not only the outfit but also the jewels of Aishwarya that she wore in the movie were decked up on the mannequin at the Academy Museum's Color in Motion exhibition. While the red lehenga featured vibrant zardozi embroidery and centuries-old craftsmanship, the jewels that the actress donned screamed opulence, as the necklace itself had the motif of India's national bird, Peacock, made of blue stones in the centre. Well, all together, the entire look of Aishwarya will be exhibited in the Academy Museum's Color in Motion exhibition.

Aishwarya Rai's 200 kilos gold jewels in Jodhaa Akbar were crafted by 70 artisans

Aishwarya Rai did proper justice to her role as 'Jodhaa Bai' in the movie, Jodhaa Akbar, and there's no second thought about the same. Well, as per reports, the gorgeous elements that Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai wore for the movie, were a blend of Rajasthani and Mughal and had 400 kilos of real gold and pricey stones. Reports also revealed that the ornaments took a total of two years to make.

Not only this, but it's also stated that a total of 70 artisans were behind these jaw-dropping jewels that Aishwarya wore for the movie. Aishwarya herself had to wear 200 kilos of jewels and even 50 persons were reportedly employed to guard these super-expensive jewellery pieces, that were exclusively curated for the movie.
