Bollywood actress, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has been ruling the film industry for decades. Her unparalleled beauty and acting chops helped her emerge as one of the most sought-after actresses in the Hindi film industry. Apart from that, Aishwarya was also well-known for her infamous love life with Salman Khan, and later, Vivek Oberoi. However, even after her breakup with both actors, Aishwarya was often reminded of her dark past.
Back in 2004, Aishwarya Rai sat down for a conversation with journalist, Chetan Sharma. The interviewer asked Aishwarya about the reports about her not striking the right chord with the 'Khan-daans', i.e. Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan. However, the actress was seen shaking her head in disbelief. Known for calling a spade a spade, Aishwarya slammed the journalist and said:
"You guys enjoy all this drama. So, I guess you can keep this going and keep yourself entertained."

At the time, reports were rife that Aishwarya was replaced for roles opposite the Bollywood Khans in movies like Kal Ho Na Ho and Mangal Pandey. The interviewer felt no shame in bringing up that topic, which left the actress seemingly annoyed. However, Aishwarya mentioned that the situations were different back then as she had a disagreement with the producer, following which he even rendered her an apology. Aishwarya responded to this by saying:
“The producer, in fact, rendered me an apology for the fact that he went out of line in speaking the way that he did to the media because of the pressures that he went through. There was a disagreement between him and my agents and I had not received the script at all.”
Chetan then asked Aishwarya about the ‘latest sunshine’ in her life, taking a dig at her pet dog. Responding to the same, the actress remarked that her puppy had been in her life for the last two years. However, the interviewer then went on to say, “That’s been given to you, I believe, by Vivek Oberoi.” Irked by the journalist's nosy attitude, Aishwarya didn't hesitate in taking a sarcastic dig at him and replied:
“Why don’t you just wait for an autobiography?”

Throughout the interview, Chetan Sharma kept interrupting Aishwarya Rai and cutting her statement midway. He crossed all boundaries and was extremely disrespectful to the actress, who kept her cool and answered with utmost grace. If reports are to be believed, Aishwarya’s team tried to stop the interview due to the bizarre and inappropriate questions. The interview wreaked havoc, and the interviewer was even fired after that.
