The couple has two sons, Shivansh and Vihaan with whom Aishwarya and her baby girl, Aaradhya, are very close. Few years back, Shrima Rai held an 'Ask Me Anything' session on her IG account where a fan asked her:

"How do you tell your kids their aunt (Aish) is so famous."

Shrima Rai replied that Aishwarya's celebrity status is never a topic of discussion in their house. Just like in every other household, Aishwarya is the aunt to her nephews, and they share a warm bond. She revealed that her kids address Aishwarya as 'Gullu Mami.' For the unversed, many households of the Southern community address their father's sister as 'mami' and not 'bua'.

Whenever Aishwarya drops by, she is often preoccupied with her professional commitments. However, whenever they meet, it is always a good time. Shrima also praised Abhishek and called him a fun guy to be with. In Shrima's words:

"I don't see Ash as a superstar. She's firstly my sister-in-law. But we don't get to see Ash and Abhishek often. When she drops by, I'm usually at work. Abhishek is a fun guy to be with."

Aditya Rai is a professional engineer at the Merchant Navy and has also co-produced Aishwarya Rai's movie, Dil Ka Rishta. The film was released in 2003 and was co-written by the sibling's mother, Brindya Rai. On the personal front, Aditya is married to Shrima Rai, a content creator with over a hundred thousand followers on Instagram. The couple is blessed with two sons, Shivansh and Vihaan.
