Faith is all she had. She would instead calm me down, she'd say Jane de, zyada matt soch. She battled with two primary cancers in her body but she never victimised herself. All she wanted was Limca and Maggi. Her first question to her Doctor after she came out of her surgery was, whether she could drink Limca, which is so unreal. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones."

"She insisted on celebrating every occasion together, that would sometimes get to me but I'm so happy that she did that because now when I look back, I would not want to spend any of those without her by my side. Every Karwa Chauth she would make Gobhi paranthas for everyone at 4am although it was just the two of us fasting. She was a beautiful soul and she believed in the goodness of people. Although I wasn't in touch with so many of my friends, but she would make it a point to wish them on every important occasion of their lives. Mujhe apne doston ki khabar unse milti thi."
