The perfect exemplars of ‘opposites attract’, Ajay Devgn and Kajol make for a lovely couple and took everyone by a storm when they announced their relationship. The media had speculated that the duo would not be able to stand the test of time and would fall apart, but proving everyone wrong, after four years of courtship, the duo had tied the knot and are going strong ever since. Ajay had once retorted that they had never resorted to usual ‘I love you’ routine and a dreamy proposal never happened. The madly-in-love couple just grew with each other and marriage was never discussed among them, but was eminent.

Ajay Devgn is considered to be very shy and stays away from the limelight and on the other hand, his wife, Kajol is like a live wire, who can burst into vivacious laughter within seconds and becomes the jaan of any party! In an interview with the Filmfare, Ajay revealed that one thing which irritates him about Kajol and when asked whether he would like to change anything about her, the adorable hubby replied, “She talks too much on the set. Whenever you tell her to concentrate, she’d probably be doing something else. I do keep complaining about her talking too much but when she’s quiet I keep asking her what’s wrong. So, I don’t want to change anything.”
Whether it was Pyar To Hona Hi Tha or Ishq, audiences and their fans have always loved Ajay and Kajol’s on-screen chemistry. And it is after 11 years that the duo will be sharing screen space together. Ajay and Kajol were last seen in the movie, U Me Aur Hum and now, they are sharing screen space in the movie, Tanhaji. During the interview, Ajay revealed his experience of working with his wifey, Kajol once again and said, “Everybody knows she’s a fabulous actor. As an actor, working with somebody like her is always a delight. Kajol was an established actress when she had decided to tie the knot with the then-struggling actor, Ajay Devgn. Everybody was against her decision of marrying Ajay at the peak of her career. Kajol and Ajay have always remained tight-lipped about their personal life, but in a throwback interview with the Hindustan Times, Kajol had revealed the reason for marrying Ajay and had said, “It was the right thing for me to do at that point of time. I had been already working for around eight and a half to nine years. So, I was ready to kind of calm down on my work front and kind of take it easier. I was doing four to five films a year. I didn't want to do only that and to only live like that. That wasn't what I had set out for. So, I assumed that I would get married and do one film a year. I'll be happier and be more settled."

For the unversed, Kajol’s father was also against her marriage with Ajay and in an interview with the Hindustan Times, she had shared the details about the same. She had revealed, “Nobody wanted us to get married besides his family and my family. My family also was iffy. My dad didn’t talk to me for a week when I told him I wanted to get married. It was because I wanted to get married. He was just like why do you want to get married, you’re so young and your career is doing so well and I was like but I want to get married. Ajay and I were very different people, so lots of people had reservations as to what we would be like as a couple and we were not very social even then.
