On September 15, 2023, Akshay Kumar dropped a teaser video of a song from his upcoming film, Mission Raniganj. The film, which is set to be released on October 6, 2023, is based on real-life incidents. As soon as the superstar dropped the video, eagle-eyed netizens were quick to take note of it and share their views. Among them, it was one of his fans who was curious to know the reason behind the actor staying awake late at night and questioned him about the same. However, replying to his fan’s query, Akshay Kumar gave a hilarious yet unmissable reply and said:

“I am in London, bhai. Shaam ke 6 baje hain. Tu bole toh abhi so jaata hoon.”

On September 9, 2023, Akshay Kumar had turned a year older, and decided to celebrate the special day in a different manner. Well, the OG khiladi was spotted visiting the Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain, along with his son, Aarav Kumar and his sister, Alka Bhatia. They were even joined by eminent cricketer, Shikhar Dhawan. In the pictures and videos of their visit that went viral, Akshay was spotted wearing an orange-hued angavastram and even performed the Bhasma arti of the deity.

For the unversed, Akshay Kumar, for the longest time, held a Canadian citizenship. However, it was finally on August 15, 2023, when the actor finally received his Indian citizenship. Taking to his IG handle, he announced the happiest news of his life, and dropped a glimpse of the same. He captioned the picture with a witty remark and had written:
“Dil aur citizenship, dono Hindustani. Happy Independence Day! Jai Hind."
